Looking for some help

You turn too early in the backswing. Seem to be going full speed from the git. Have to wait for your arm to enter the power pocket (right pec) before you really start. Disc looks like it's ejecting at around your left shoulder. So your not getting any elbow extension.

Moving way too fast forward, not reaching back at full extension (when you're planting the front foot). Watch this video, it nicely illustrates when to reach back in the throw:

Seems to be preaching... Door Frame Drill, Crush the Can, Power of Posture and Hershyzer Drill

Yes it's true it's a series of positions rather than feeling the body weight...but I like the visual of where the reachback happens to slow things down.

No it doesn't show the feeling of how to get your weight forward like the door frame drill, or get it onto that plant foot like the crush the can.

unfortunately I dont have someone available today to help with the camera.
But I've noticed a difference in slowing down and focusing on getting my hips to rotate before I bring my arm in and powering through the chest better. 375' consistently today!

My other question is when should I choose higher speed discs? or is it just throw whats comfortable they gets the job done?

If you're hitting 350' with fairway drivers (or speed 10 or lower) discs there's absolutely no problems to throw high speed stuff. Really you can throw high speed stuff any time you get other discs over 300' I think, just to get used to it. But they will start performing better if you're getting them out over 350' at least I think.

There's no harm in throwing them in the rotation, they're fun and get you used to low line drives with the nose down, and the big rims. It's only harmful if they're the majority of what you throw, and you depend on their fade/wind resistance, and use that to cover constant flex shots or poor/unclean releases.

Well heres another recording. Looking at them now I still need to work on getting the hips engaged and better timing. Things have been flying better now that Ive tried slowing down.
My last video of the 3 I was able to get my Volt out to 400' where as my norms last week were around 325-350', this weeks been closer to 375'.

Also does anyone use a good slow-mo app? The ones I've found dont let me upload them unless I pay for the app.

How are you measuring your distance? A big part of improving distance is being able to accurately measure when you are getting more distance than you used to.

You need to work on bracing more effectively. You are planting open and letting all of your weight fly past the brace instead of using to generate power.

I've got a field that's 450' so I throw from one end to the other. So I measure it off distance left.
I'll go back to the field and practice! Thanks

You are too backward to make a forward move and sequence hitting the top of the backswing as you plant. See how the pros are still forward and upright and not "max reached back" yet. Keep your head braced inside your feet. Because you hit your max reachback early you have to drag the disc forward and lose a ton of acceleration when it matters. You are hiding the disc behind you, while the pros are keeping the disc to the side and pivoting their body around it/out of the way of the disc's path to the target while still bringing it through their center.
