Tagging along with my wife who has a business thing in Bloomington, Mn in July. Looks like some decently reviewed courses within 10 miles of MOA. I'm in western NC and love woods golf and elevation. Any recommendations from locals would be appreciated.

Red oak is a fun warm up screw around with new discs course.

Hyland or Bryant are both worth checking out.

Kenwood trails is close and one of the better school courses Ive played.

Kaposia would be for sure worth checking out from the sounds of golf you like.

Ive played many of the courses out this way and there are no shortage of great ones in MN.

Id recommend:

- Blue Ribbon Pines
- Bryant Lake
- Kaposia
- VisionQuest
- The Valley
- Oakwood
- Lakewood Falls

Some are more than a 10 mile drive but all in the Twin Cities "area"

If you can, Blue Ribbon is definitely worth the trip. If not, you wouldn't be disappointed with any of these options. Great golf out that way!

Thanks all. I'll most likely Uber around. I saw Kaposia and Bryant Lake on here. I remember Kaposia from years ago reading Chuck Kennedy's posts on the PDGA board. I'll for sure hit that and Bryant and keep BlueRibbon in mind. Again thanks much!

Agree. South end of town: Kaposia, Valley, Bryant, Red Oak, Kenwood. Highland has elevation, not much else.
