Random Meetup at Ditto Farms

I was playing Ditto Farms in Hagerstown solo today. While putting out on #5 I saw a couple guys on #9 that looked familiar, probably 200' away or so. I yelled that them, hoping that they were who I thought they were. And, sure enough, it was Swatso, Dwill, and Fascinated Flyer, all who I've played rounds with before multiple times after meeting them through DGCR. They invited me along, re-played #6-9 with me, and then we finished the round together. That was an awesome chance meeting since I'm from the Cumberland, MD area and they're closer to Baltimore. Very cool timing and a good time!

Also I'll be playing a round in Eau Claire at Tower Ridge or trying a new park I. That general area if anyone cares to tag along at the end of April.

Gflap from St. Louis got in touch with me a couple of weeks ago. He was coming through the area and when he does, we always try to meet up for a round somewhere. He hadn't played Ditto Farms in Hagerstown, MD yet so we planned on playing there today.

Then, yesterday, I get a text from Swatso. "Want to play at Ditto tomorrow?"

So, we had the Missouri (Gflap), Maryland (Swatwo) and West Virginia (me) meetup today. These are the first two guys that I ever met from DGCR so it was cool getting to play a round with both of them together. Good times!

I have played with about 14 or more different members. The most i have played with at one time is 7 others. we were playing a winter round at shore acres. we only got 8 holes in after 3 hours. due to the heavy snow fall a couple of days earlier. I did play a round where there were 11 of us there but we split up into different groups. so i only played with 5 others that day.

As far as I know, I have not encountered anyone from this site. Perhaps I will start bringing up DGCR when I talk to randoms on course. It is a small world...
