Mulligans?

Used to play with mulligans. But as my game improved I quit.

My league allows a mulligan off the first throw from the first tee.
We figure, you just got there and not warmed up.
If your first shot sucks, you can take another...but if you take another, you have to throw from that second lie. That's it. No more per round.
So really, you are still playing an uninterrupted 18 holes, mulligan or not.

We have played that for our normal casaul rounds. Pretty fair with no warm up.

The trouble with mulligans is that you never really get a good idea of how much (or how little) you're improving over time.

(The more mulligans you take, the more this holds true.)
