Been way too long since I played here, so I don't know when someone carved a mushroom out of this stump. I assume the tree must have been irreparably damaged in a storm, so if the tree had to go, at least "they" did something fun with the stump.

This is mostly only a cool photo to me, but this is a pic of me (in the tie-dye) playing disc golf for the very first time in 1996. One of my friends had 10 acres outside of Idaho Springs, CO. and he put up an object course. I was hooked from that day forward.

Guy was fooling around at 18's tee at Heritage Park under the bridge and got his disc stuck, like REALLY stuck. They had 8 or so guys try to get it out but no luck. It hopefully stays there as a sword-in-the-stone thing.
