And, do we have handicaps?

I'm a newbie and promise to stop asking questions as soon as possible. But, now that i'm accumulating scores, is there some way to begin setting a handicap?

Do we have those? (Handicaps?)

And, is there some way to start logging your scores so you get a rating (or something)?

Thanks!!!

Handicaps are a per league basis. There is a group that is local to me and they play, as far as I can tell, the same course weekly. They record the scores and take the handicap's out of a round of 50.

If you are a PDGA member and you play in sanctioned tournaments then you will get a rating. DGCR has a part where you can input your scores and get a rating.

....In other words, there is no set or official way to calculate handicaps.

Many, if not most, disc golfers do not use them. Or, as sandtiger indicates, only use them in particular leagues, for particular courses.

My advice is, don't worry about them.
