What is the most beautiful/scenic course you have played?

Codorus is a real nice walk for sure

Univ of Alaska Fairbanks is pretty sweet as well. Its played on a college campus but the campus sits above the city and you get great views of the city and surrounding mountains.

Stafford Lake in CA is hard to beat. California Hills, tons of elevation, sunshine and a lake. Not to mention all the different kinds of trees and brush that come into play.

Sugaree in the mountains of NC is also great. For quiet backwoods golf in a forest setting, I really liked Hyzer Creek up in NY too.

So many courses, so little time.

Arizona Snowbowl is a homer pick for me but otherwise I would have to go with Telemark DGC in Cable, Wisconsin or Vallarta-Ast in Madison Wisconsin

Here's a few pics from some of mine.

DSCJNKY's Owen High Nature Trail course has some of the best views of surrounding mountains of any course I've been on. It's absolutely stunning in spots.

I would actually have to agree with this. LOL.
Thanks Jack...

Ya! More love for the Curtain!!!

The problem with the Curtain is parts of it have been logged recently (within the last few years) and that definitely hinders it in terms of beauty.

There's another course in that region that I think is much better! Redwoods and meadows crossed with a junkyard... much prettier.

Hawk Hollow and Walnut creek are nice, but Stafford Lake in Ca is beautiful most scenic course I have seen.

Flip City can be beautiful, and this is just one of the less scenic flat holes.

Of all the courses I've played, the Mason County parks in Ludington are the most scenic IMO. More so than Flip City. They have some great views of Lake Michigan.

If I ever played a course in the Appalachian/Rocky mountains, that would probably be the most beautiful/scenic to me.

it's hard for eastern scenic to live up to western scenic...

You'd be surprised....many westerners marvel at how green and alive the midwest and east coast can be....we often forget that the west has great vistas but also is typically dull scrub and dead looking foliage.

I think theres plenty of definitions of beauty just like theres plenty of different types of courses that can be enjoyed

In the end I tend to marvel at golf lines and the beauty of a disc in flight.....I kick myself for not noticing the scenery around me when I play....I have issues

Sky High DGC in Wrightwood, California.

I gotta give a shout out to my home course, too. Hole 2 at Rankin Lake DGC today.

Some of the holes at Jordan and nocky you showed me match up with anything I've seen. I especially liked that hole going down to the river and the one following that at Jordan. Nocky was real pretty all around. Maple Hill is one beautiful course as well.
