Can't believe no one has said Buzzz... I bag an extra X Buzzz for newbies I meet on the course or kids that have never played before. IMO the easiest disc to throw and learn with.
XD dude no bead low profile and understable. It will show form flaws right away. Or get over the bead thing and grab a comet. Arguably the best form flaw finder in the game.
Honestly the chief is great for this shot. I personally throw a shaman for this shot but it might not be as stable as you like. If you are trying to learn good form though the shaman is better imo. I also love the xd and it is very close in flight to the shaman. Don't count out the beat Pro D...
Never thrown the Ti but this is probably the right answer. Comet is so amazing right out of the box. The XD is also up there on the list and the Colt sounds good as well. If you want to go to a fairway diver my vote is for a DX Gazelle they hold almost any line right out of the box.
One problem I have with bigger bags is carrying more discs than I need. It can make disc selection difficult at times. I think when playing tournaments or big courses that take a long time having the extra room is great but for an every day rec round I try to keep it small and simple. Just my 2...
