[Legacy] Legacy's 7th release the "Patriot" and Legacy news

I've been trying to hunt down a white liked that, nice score! I have a gummy peach that I'm hoping will do the same thing

I found a stash at a local shop. And for some reason these fingerprinty versions are almost all 167/68 weight.

I'd say they're like a (better) g-star! I like them allot, fly great and have great durability. BUT, I also like the super firm pearly pinns too. I pair them together as well as a beat/light excel.

Yup, those lighter ones. Same as the pinks I had. The ones I had do beat up and deform real easy on hard impacts though, sorta like pro. Grip is amazing. The pearly pinns are exactly what I paired them with. Couldn't turn those domey pearlies for the life of me.

In another thread somewhere, someone suggested the Patriot and River were similar. I got to hold a Patriot in my grubby paws today, and it does look and feel a lot like a River. Didn't get to throw it, but definitely liked the look and feel.

nice! my favorite run is the gummy (not fr gummy) peachy pinnacle.. have a stack of 168's .. my babies! .. prob going to have to move one or two in a few days though but man that are buttah! the one in my bag is perfectly seasoned now .. i would cry if i lost it lol

That yellow grinder I got from you is money, it goes for days on a good hyzer flip :D

This is a solid disc, how do the legend ones fly?

Is there any other Icon run that is stable other than the light flatter green ones? I have three 168s that are beefy for patriots and I'm thinking I might as well use all Icons for the winter.

I lost a blue pinnacle pat that I loved last year and picked up a 173 white icon to replace it. Just not the same though. I have to really crank it to get any turn. It's way more stable than I expected.

I have a 173g blue pin that I've been using all year and it's great, now that it's cold it doesn't have a good grip. My 167 white icon is US for sure like my 167 yellow icon.

To me it's like this from OS to US

173 Silver Legend
168 Green Icon
173 Blue Pinnacle
173 Purple Icon
169 Peach Pinnacle
167 White Icon
167 Yellow Icon

Yeah, I bag 167g white Icons and they are fairly US and workable right out of the box. I also tested out red and blue Icons in similar weights, but I found them they were definitely beefier.

^Reads like I need a Patriot in another plastic that will break in quicker or at least have less HSS:confused::\:)

I bag two silver legend pats and they only turn when thrown with 300'+ power in calm conditions. At max power and a little hyzer, they'll pop up to straight for about 350' on a golf line. My main silver Pat is slightly more seasoned with a little more glide and touch less fade and filled in nicely to replace the QJLS I lost:wall: which had been in the bag for a year and a half and was starting to develop some turn but still had a dependable fade.

I was hoping to work the silver legend Pats into a cycle to cover my current QJLS cycle (fresh/straight:wall:, seasoned/turnovers, beat/standstill and elevation) this winter. The thing is my well seasoned Legend Pat hasn't changed much this year and I suspect will remain in my fresh QJ spot for a long time... which means a lot more work for it in the woods this off season not only because I pull my CE QJs for winter rounds but because I don't know where I'd be if I lost my seasoned turnover QJ without a ready backup.

ugghh i keep losing my favorite patriots.. i havent lost a disc in a long time so i guess i was over due but i have lost 3 of my favorite bagged ones in the last 6 months. First.. I lost my BELOVED seasoned FR Slime Legend Pat..then i lost my 2 year sesaoned Pinnacle at Rock Hill.. so i dig out a 168 Icon from my box to try and replace the flight of my seasoned pinnacle.. it was flying great and i was really really loving it and poooffff i toss it in the same spot that i lost my Legend Pat.. even after getting in the water and fishing for them both no luck... ugghhh :wall: .. I put a fresh pinnacle in but it starts out so beefy.. ugghh what the luck and i thought i had an extra icon and nope cant find it either :(

You sold it to me...:hfive:

lol i remember that one :p .. thought i had an extra generic white 168 .. so currently in the bag i have a really flippy seasoned 163g Icon and a fresh 168 Pinnacle.. you could say there is a bit of a gap in stability there lol .. hoping to get another 168 Icon or Legend to fill the role till my Pinnacle Seasons more.. also i have never tossed a Phenom if i can find a light one do you think that could work?? .. im just missing my lazer beam patriot which is one of my favorite shots to throw.. just so fun to watch them on a flip flat toss

You could throw in an Excel while you're waiting to get a premium plastic seasoned to where you like it.

Excel rules for Patriots. 2 tree hits and it's pretty much at flight numbers while my 2 year old Icon still isn't flippy. My trick one (really flippy) was one I gave to a Chucker for 1/2 a round which he proceeded beat in with the quickness.

I just got a glow Patriot from Supreme Flight. The plastic feels amazing, and on the first few throws it is really stable. If you get a chance to grab a glow Pat, do it!
