well i have no rating as of yet. here's what i've been told:
1. they call it "Blowing Green" - bring some o/s stuff.
2. save your tickets for dinner.

i have only one hope- not to finish last. What can you tell me about the courses in play for the lower pools- White, lovers, miller, and griffin? any tips?Likewise. :hfive:

Last year was my first sanctioned tournament, and we played Miller, White, Chalybeate & Lovers.
- Miller is 2/3 wooded, tight, but not too long: a good game for controlled mids & below, and doesn't play too bad even if it's windy.
- White is long and has tough OB on all the paths. All the scores will go up a lot if it's windy.
- Lover's is a park course with a little bit of distance for us Rec players.
- I've never played Griffin.

if you finish all four rounds you wont finish dfl because there will be people quitting for a variety reasons after the first 3 rounds

i was one of those who quit last year.. final round was white course and was doing horrible. after my second 7 i looked over to the parking lot.. my car was 190 feet away and the next 3 holes was taking me way far away and with my temper i opted for the closer of the two.. i wont do that this year.. that was my first b.g. tournament and learned alot.. went to that g.b.o. shortly after that and it was unplayable.. so i'll come back to b.g. and never quit again.. (i dont think) oh yeah, i would have cashed about 30th place had i finished those last 3 holes. who knew.
