[Dynamic] Dynamic Discs Suspect

I got two Pink 176g Lucid Escapes over the weekend at the Texas State Amateur Championships. First thing I noticed is even though Emac insists they dont look like a Zone, they totally do only with a Microbead and larger diameter. I immediatley took them out and started to test them. They are stable and great driving putters, but they arent as stable as a Zone, Drone or Gator. But what they are is very similar to a faster Rhyno. The Rhyno has very little glide but this puppy has tons and is almost mid fast. In a dead head wind 15+ they are dead straight, where as a Zone would still finish left. Once you realize this and make the adjustment they become a great disc. I was able to flip one in about 25+ head wind but it just stalled and died no dumping and rolling. This is a great utility disc and has made it into my bag.

Not like a hornet
Very similar to a jokeri
Still a slow midrange /upshot disc
not large diamter(dd states this themselves)
Very similar to a zone w a bead but like most have said, alot straighter and more distance potential
I can get this a little further than my beefy gators but it wont go as far as my buzzzs

With all that said, its competing with my sinus more than my gator. They both go on the same lines somewhat but the sinus dumps earlier and lacks as much glide. Premium plastic is a plus but also a minus for me,ive used my sinus for a windy putter but the suspect feels weird as a putter. Probably because of the premium plastic.

Still giving my sinus a run for its spot in the bag, gator stays and owns its spot in the bag.

Good to hear. My Suspects will be battling the Jokeri for the wind/upshot spot in the bag. And the OS putter off the tee spot as well. Sounds good. The rims on mids work better for me than putters so I have great hopes.

Super flat, my orange has some pearl to it too.

I got mine in yesterday. At first I thought it was going to fill my overstable putter slot but I am starting to think it will fill my overstable midrange slot

Wow, I'm impressed with the Suspect. It's overstable, but manageable. Definitely has a lot more glide than the Zone. Closer to a true approach disc. I'm not sure about putting with it, but I'm gonna give it a shot.

Hmmm I just won one In the auction. Thought this disc was Spose to be a tweener disc but I love gators so this might fit in my bag or just go on the wall.

It is kind of a tweener disc. It is rated exactly the same as a Zone for whatever that's worth. High power players will be able to stretch it out but I'll be using it as an OS driving/approach putter.

The plastic feels awesome and the colors look great too. My limited throws were very straight with no turn. At the end of its flight it just seems to die and crash to the left. I'm intrigued by it and it jives with my setup so I'll be bagging it for a while anyway.

You'll likely enjoy the mold the more you throw it. I certainly have. It's so consistent and always reliable for me. Wind or not if I need a mid not to flip and always finish left I reach for this. Great for spike hyzers inside two fifty and also low skip shots.

Mine still doesnt skip much, not nearly as much as my gator . I threw it in a headwind this weekend on a low ceiling shot that had a tree branch hanging low in front of the basket. Threw it with not much effort and it just cruised past the basket, was only about a 150' shot but went passed about 30. Nice little disc, still havnt decided if its kicking my sinus or not.

Is this like an M1?

No. It's consistent, available, and in legal weight.

All joking aside I haven't throw an M1 but from what I've seen none of their four mids are like this. Opto beaded zone but longer is about the best description. Or if a z Zone and a flat top roc had a baby this might be the glorious result.

Picked up my suspect today at DD Lewisville. Last pink one they had at the time, they just posted on facebook that they just got a new shipment in but no pictures of pink. I use a D zone and a Z zone a lot for up shots and short drives. I knew going into the round I played today that is wasn't going to be like my zones, but I did use it in place of my zones for all the shots I'd normally zone it up. Worked great for most of the shots I used it for. The only one I had a little trouble with was a 250' drive in a strong headwind. The suspect flipped up from a hyzer and started turning just a tiny bit to the right and ended up right in the middle of a creek... I will have to play with it a little more but I am liking this disc, just don't know if I need it.

The suspect isnt like the prodigy mids, its slower and not as much glide. With that zmsaid, the m1 is very drone-ish and the m3 is like a slightly overstable weird rimmed roc/buzzz.

Anyone notice a difference in feel between light 170's suspects vs heavier max weight suspects? My pink 171 is gummier and more concave than the green 175 i just bought from mst. The green is more stiff and not concave at all,i have yet to throw it .

If I love my Wasp for my overstable mid/approach, is there a place in my bag for a Suspect? Better wind-fighter? More precise?

Could be space. They have similarities but not enough that you wouldn't easily justify both. A Z Wasp will be longer for you if you throw it over 300 now. If that's the case a Suspect will be good for 250-300 and slightly more overstable.

It's flat and slim, small bead. If you buy one don't ink it up before you test it out. If you don't like it I'll trade you a good Z Wasp and Z Drone for it and your troubles. :D

Edit: I see now you throw a Ti Wasp. :\
