[Innova] Foxbat

Why didn't they just name it the Innova Fox? foxes are pretty popular right now... Plus it would be pretty cool to say I just threw my star fox. The video game nerd in me would love to be able to say that haha

This name is awesome only due to its sheer stupidity.

I will indeed find out what the fox says now.

I like the animal...Flying Fox is a way better name though. Foxbat makes me think of dingbat.

its an atlas without an OM. lollllllll

these were probably around before the atlas when testing the mold but they needed to come up with a good name first.

I was referring to the ability to skip the typical speed 4 mid and speed 6/7 slots i.e. a tweener between mids and fairways.

I see what you're getting at, and I agree. A faster putter like the Pure is getting close speed-wise to a speed 4 type mid, and speed 9 drivers like the saint, volt, amp, and PD are now considered fairways, so it only makes sense to have faster 5-6 speed mids to bridge the gap between contemporary mids and fairways.

what does large diameter really mean. is a roc or shark in that too or is this with condors and zephyrs.

So this is going to be like a Discraft Glide? I couldn't get rid of that thing fast enough...

I think it's in reference to normal Driver / Putter size , which puts alot (maybe most) of the mid ranges into that category of large diameter

Cool name for a disc, the Foxbat was the Nato codename for the Soviet Mig-25 Interceptor, given that it's still holds records in speed and climb I can see using it for a midrange with these glidey characteristics.
