For a 300 foot woody path straight line to target with around 12 feet of the path.

What disc and any tricks? I try to use a wolf, leopard or monarch but the path is very unforgiving and adds a few points to my game. Really frustrating going from -1 to +2 just because of this hole. Ive tried RHBH and RHFH so far rhbh wolf is best but doesnt get the right distance.

Hyzer flip a slightly US disc. Leo and monarch both are great for learning to throw hyzer flips. You might find it easier to throw a more HSS mold like a teebird but will need to season out some of the fade when new.

What kind of score do you usually take? Rather than taking a full power shot would you ever consider just taking it easy? When I walk up to holes like this I usually go one of two routes...if I am feeling it. I will try a X Comet shot up the gut for about 220-250 or so to try and get a jumper look for 2. If I am not feeling it I will just take a stand and deliver putter shot out to 150 and than just do the same shot again, tap in and take a 3 and move on.

When i underpower my shots I typically get a +1 or 2 on the hole its a par 3 but i always slip up when i dont play safe and i get a +3 to 5 cuz it goes in the woods. I typically get +4 or so depending on the day or course. But i usually just play for fun and dont care about score that much unless im with friends.

We have a tight 295ft hole near me and I usually throw a Comet for the safe shot with a long putt, but if I'm feeling good I'll flip a Leopard.

So just throw your wolf up the middle and play for the 3.

Personally, I don't think I'd necessarily try to reach the green (would have to see the hole first) Likely options for me would be to hyzer flip a comet, ghost or FD up the middle. Maybe getting up the path is more important than finishing right?

Comet or Putter if I'm off a bit that day and need to be more careful.
Some sort of fairway driver (Leopard...Teebird) if I'm a bit spunky and rambunctious.

I would be playing a Roc that will flip up to flat and hold. Personally I wouldn't be trying to finish at the pin but just in the middle of the fairway.

Z comet, flat release, maybe a tiny bit of wrist roll to get it to turn. Depending on how far right, maybe a beat up gazelle.

We have so many stupid fairways like that, I have no problem trying to park it.

Surprised a flat Buzzz shot has not been mentioned yet...

Do you think a mako would help? I used a leopard on it today but its still risky because one slip and its deep in the woods with a driver.
