I have no issue with them playing in MPO. Like most people say, it is honor to have a top name or 2 come out. Any negatives underwhelm the positives of them being there. That is, as long as they don't cut in front of other groups who are also playing the event /S.
That said, most developmental pro tours in ball golf (mini-tours), prohibit those who have played a certain number of PGA tour events or have a certain ranking, from competing in their events. Generally though, PGA tour pros are eligible for the Club Championships at the local clubs they belong to.
Maybe as the sport grows and we get these developmental leagues, such a rule may make sense.
