What are your favorite 2 discs in your bag to throw?

I have had more fun throwing the PA5 than anything in years. Feels almost like a midrange- flies almost like a frisbee.

Maybe Zone FH approach and Tursas BH wide anhyzer approach, the shots most likely to make me seem much better than I am as the disc curls up by the basket or flattens out of the curve to land flat in front of the basket, respectively.

Gila: 250 ft baby flex shots. I can consistently nail that line due to the Gilas reliable stability, glide and hand feel. It will eat up the bit of nose down, glide as it pulls back to flat and then finishes with a late hook. Big time birdie machine in the woods.

Tortuga: 200 ft dead straight shots. The odd flight of the Tort makes dead straight shots so much easier than I typically would see out of a Wizard. The late turn corrects underpowering errors and makes for a disc that lands in a dead straight line from release.

Honorable Mention: Gateway Dream Weaver
New distance mold that I can throw 100% on a slight nose down anny and it will absolutely BOOM down the fairway with a -1, 2.5 flight. Very reminiscent to good Destroyers but I like the shape a bit more.

This summer was a rough one for my go-to mids. Normally I'd list a Roc3, but that part of my bag is in flux.

So:
Pro Wraith 175 - Fairly fresh. Big hyzers backhand and the occasional flick.
DX Beast 1?? - Thrashed. Not the most predictable disc, but I can throw some really fun lines that I can't shape with any other fast disc.

My two favorite to throw...

One is in the cart in multiple stages of maturity, 8xKCRoc
I know, shocking.

The other is not in the cart because the I am using and MVP Glitchy disc in its spot, and it is challenging to carry two extra large diameter discs.
The Whamo 71C*, extreme floaty goodness, glides forever...

163 quantum vela. Perfect woods driver. Super workable, but not too much fade. It can also handle a little wind. I use this disc on about 50% of my drives with a driver.

170 star Roc3. Also great in the woods. Very neutral, goes where you tell it.

Honorable mention to my 170 plasma proxy.

My Orange Wraith. Got it back from a pond recently and it is the perfect full-power disc. Other one has to be my Eclipse 2.0 Reactor, it's beat in to where it's my most controllable disc for my weak backhand.

Comet. Love this classic and I am convinced they are made of magical stardust. My beat/first Big Z gets the most action.

Pharaoh. Some runs are like a Shryke but more controllable, hyzerflipping fun all the way. Down to my last of my favorite run and terrified I'll lose it, but not enough not to throw it.

This year Ive been sticking to what I know well.

1. RDG Scale fossil superglow.. I throw this alongside my "driving" Wizards, but the Scale is just so reliable, does little baby flexes and hyzers, then just hits and sits. I use it on nearly every hole for an upshot.

2. Seasoned 11x Teebird. I mean, it's a seasoned 11x teebird. Nuff said.

1. Disctroyer Stork - It flies like I want my Teebirds to fly, or maybe how they fly when I play a lot and am throwing really well. Basically a Teebird for someone that doesn't want to try that hard.

2. Doomsday Plague - It's just another overstable disc like a Firebird but the rim fits me well. People looking at it like WTH is that is just bonus.

My A4 in 450 g plastic. My most reliable disc by far. Off the tee on shorter holes, long straight approaches, any flex lines, hyzers, it does it all.

Second would be my Opto Saint, my most reliable driver. Good hss, dependable fade, easy distance cuz of that glide.

Jamie, tell Gateway that the name Dream Weaver is taken. A new disc with that name from Jester Disc Golf was approved this week.

Berg of any plastic and weight. I still have my original K3 I bought as a tester in 2018 and it still drops outta the sky like a dream.

Kotuku. They fill the old Teebird shot for me without encroaching on Thunderbird territory. The plastics from RPM are great for mids and I have a strata that is starting to straighten out some so the cycle is beginning.

SP Line Rift - I've got 2 aces with it and if I'm not sure what to throw on a hole I'll throw this and it will land somewhere I can at least get up and down for birdie (assuming no iron leaves are in play)

I recently lost my I-Line Dynasty so I'm not sure what my second disc would be. If I had to play with only 2 discs It'd be my Rift and a D-Line Alapaca so I'll go with that
