i guess my hopes for the warmest, driest winter in GR on record have gone out the window...:\

It really wasn't that bad out, 'Poth. At one point, Mashy had to take clothes off, it was so warm. Plus, I had soaking wet feet and manned up for 5 hours or so of discin'. It was not unlike Valley Forge, but I managed.

those pics make it look gloomier than it was.. the sun was peaking out all day pretty much and we were all commenting how warm we were... of course we were all layered and prep'd for war...

Layers 'poth, it's all about the layers... oh and a pack of Hot Hands goes a long way too.

Hand warmers are a god-send. The only part of me that was cold was my feet, and after the first hour or so they go numb so you don't even really notice it.

they have the Hot Hands for your boots too... you should get those Juke.. of course I wear the Seal Skinz water proof socks now so they work great too but are like $30.

Oh, and only one lost disc, and that was one I just left lying in the fairway after my team shot. :doh:

Finding discs in the snow really didn't give us too many problems, although we did have to look for one or two that got buried.

Nah, I'm actually gonna pick up some nice waterproof boots. I used to think I didn't need them, but I have a feeling I'm going to be needing them before the winter is out.

what a pain that was though... they were like 10' away and it took awhile to find. Usually you can see where they go in and just kick the snow a bit and there it is... sometimes you're hunting for them but they usually turn up.

Nah, I'm actually gonna pick up some nice waterproof boots. I used to think I didn't need them, but I have a feeling I'm going to be needing them before the winter is out.

It's amazing how big a difference dry warm feet make, I can deal with being cold and wet much better if my feet are happy.
