hey, the illinois group crosses state boarders. they go hard.

"Hard" like this?

Keep in mind that The Memorial is in early March. I know we get a lot of folks for Cali out here for that week. May affect your turn-out. I know I wouldn't be able to do it.

What are we going to do when we get there? Talk or something?

So lets work on a location. You have my suggestions, I haven't heard much else.

I'm fine with a central location. I would prefer something with group camping.

Hiding behind a tree and crying
cooking breakfast for everyone
chess
Dungeons and Dragons
Debate
Run for political office (oust the Governator)

lulz

so first Wrestling (thumb inserted into <edited for content>)
then the subsequent crying
an attempt to trust society again with D&D <--isn't effective
work it out with therapeutic finger painting <--effectively re-zens the zenster!

Not a real fan on Pinto Lake myself the middle 9 are a bit too open for my tastes.
As far as camping here are the best options in the area:
New Brighton is a great location (on the cliffs above the beach), close to both DeLa and Aptos courses. The draw back is it is hard to get a reservation....although getting a group site might be easier.

Henry Cowell is another option (in the Redwoods), close to both DeLa and Black Mouse courses.
Should be easier to get a site here:

I didn't really like Pinto Lake. Just played there last weekend. The meadow is boring (8 holes with no obstacles). The other holes are really difficult and not too much fun for those of us that aren't super good.
