What do you do with discs that are near the end of their life?

I have a few, including 1 thats OP, and I dont throw them any more, even the molds that are still around and I wonder why Im holding onto them without any purpose in mind for them. Ther are all beat up pretty good and far too ugly for a wall. Dont have any aces with them and are generally worthless probably resell wise.

I was thinking I am familiar with them though, and my current line up of discs doesnt have a cheap baseline plastic for most the molds I throw, so should I use them over water hazards?

Would at least give them some purpose, and if I did lose them, they'd have a proper burial at a disc golf course; at least until someone finds them.

Hmmm maybe if I come up with a fancy name for DX of around 10 years ago. Banshee in 10x DX plastic

Some of those that are towards the end of their life for us because they are super flippy are great for beginners that don't have any snap yet.

Might not be the best way for them to learn the snap and form, but many of them I give them to aren't playing that much anyway. Just lets them have fun.
(AND they will still probably be lost in the water!)

Put them in your collection, if you don't have a disc collection, start one!

i take gapes approach. when a disc gets too beat in for me to use (or if its a dx disc or a mold im not interested in) i usually just give them to the local kiddies.

i tell them "this disc sucks. learn why it sucks and get back to me.:)"

Well, some of them, its more that they might split into pieces with the next tree hit as well for reasons I dont throw them, like the Banshee. I have a couple of old Stingrays that probably would be good for them anyway so that might be an idea.

My Puma is probably the one that I just cant stand to think of losing but I dont know why since I havent used it for years and probably has some good life in it yet,

Thats pretty much what they are now, I've just never been one for collecting things. Maybe it would be neat some day, when my grandchildren are into it, to pull them out and say "This is what discs were like when I started playing 40 years ago."

I trade them away under the s/n of maddogtannin.

You can always donate them to Sol's Haiti trip.

Take a pile of them to a field and throw them high...it's fun to have a disc with a 7,5,-8,0 rating.

The donation idea is a good one. I let my kids throw them around, too.

Wht weight are the Stingrays and what do you want for them?

The discs are probably fine and you just have a major OAT problem. Spend some time at DGR and you'll be hyzer flipping your way to success in no time.

donate or leave them in your vehicle for when u are driving up a mountainside

They are 169 I think. I dont think the weight is legible anymore.

Oh, I think they fly fine. They're just old and I dont use them now.

Im torn. Im kind of attached to them. I think I will just have to store them away.
