Errr, are we not supposed to talk about the disc and dimensions that I see in mf100forever's original post that are staring me in the face from my email right now?
So based on those specs that NONE of us are looking in our emails. What differences are people seeing? Does this look to be an overstable Volt? I imagine this is still the same driver flightplate.

I was really hoping the next disc was going to be the Watt.

MVP doesn't make posts in their own forum anymore so who knows.. They like to hold everything back from us and not excite us with news of development of a "new driver" or anything for that matter.

Back a few months ago they were always updating us and now they have gone into shadow government mode.

For all we know they made enough money on the current discs to retire in the Cayman Islands and will not be developing further discs... who knows they are so silent and don't even sponsor any pros to get their product name out there to build credibility in their products.

I'm beginning to lose interest in MVP and gaining interest in trying new drivers from companies like DD and Prodigy.. Which sucks for MVP because i don't switch discs in my tourney bag after the start of a season and whatever i throw is what i rep because i try everything and chose what works best. So they better give us something before another companies disc secures a spot.

I am the one of the very few MVP voices in my community and have led to probably 100's of sales by word of mouth.. especially for the AXIS and Ion. And who knows how many have been influenced on these forums.

MVP is a great company but they have recently failed to keep the interest of the community (in my opinion) by withholding news, updates, and overall communication with people who enjoy their products as much as i do.

People don't like being left in the dark for too long. We want to know whats going on!!

sorry for the rant.. i just had one of those moments

plex they just came out with the Amp and with the holidays and all... Plus the semester starting. They're not a huge company or anything :) I trust MVP. Mitten ftw!

Plex,

Thank you for your feedback, and we apologize for our absence. We have become even more busier with increased product developments and also still working around a school schedule. Nevertheless, we do still follow this official thread and will post any important clarifications.

We are generally always in continuous development for new products. However, the development of a new product requires several months of work.

As far as announcements or specific details go, we prefer to oversee our high quality standards throughout the full product development and production run before we release any information. We strive to set a new industry standard with the highest quality standards, and to abide by these standards requires a great deal of time. We do not like to keep everyone waiting for a new product, so we prefer to wait until a new product is ready to be launched before announcing it.

We have adopted this philosophy as a result of the launch of the Volt last year. We announced the Volt in the early production trials, but then when it came to production we were unsatisfied with the quality, so we worked to upgrade our facility to improve our standards. Consequently, there were delays with the launch of the Volt which lead to a lot of disappointment and people waiting. At the time, we ourselves did not even know when the Volt would be launched.

We work as hard as we can to stay in touch with everyone here on the forums and our Facebook page to keep everyone updated with the most accurate and up to date information.

Best Regards,
Brad Richardson

The Shock by MVP Disc Sports is now PDGA Approved as of 1-15-2013.

"The Shock is our slightly overstable fairway driver. The Shock is a more stable complement to the Volt. With a high power throw, it will hold a long straight line with less turn and immense glide followed by a late dependable fade." - MVP Disc Sports

I know the shock is taking the top MVP spot at the moment but I received the Dynamic Discs Soft Neutron ION and its MONEY. Going to order a few more.

Cool im glad you like the neutron Ion. How is the axis working for you?

I haven't thrown the axis yet. Just literally came in about 30 mins ago. I won't be able to test it out until Sunday. However the N S ion feels great. Gummy and grippy. From the feeling alone I'm going to get another one.

I'm about to test this ion in a few. Will let you know.

Let me know how you like the S N Ion. Really contemplating getting one or two.

I too was thinking about getting 1 or 2

Let me know how soft it is compared to a Proton Soft

The axis is beast, i know you will like it :)

Only difference I'm noticing so far is the neutron has better grip. N S Ion seems a little more OS atm. Both the P S Ion I'm using and the N S Ion are brand new. Only difference I can tell so far. Putted from 20ft-30ft. 30 shots each disc. N S Ion made 25/30. P S Ion 20/30 and 2 bounce outs. (I know that's irrelevant but only chance I've had to test with both).

Hi,

I recently got an eclipse anode that does not glow at all. I sent a message to your facebook page to keep it private but have yet to here anything. I was really looking forward to using it this winter for glow rounds but now i have to buy lights too.

Was this a bunk run or what? It's a blank yellow/green med anode with white overmold that's just a white overmold :/

What's up fellas?

This may be a dumb question, but have you held a very bright light on the overmold for any length of time? It's been my experience that the eclipse discs take a lot more than other discs to start glowing, but that once they start they go for a while.
