That's why you carry extra mags on your support side. My buddy Bill and his friend Dave did a neat demonstration of how effective this is here:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oURZ3LxYhIY

Bill was my ID instructor at Front Sight. The glocks and XDs are commonly referred to as 'safe action' handguns. It's easier than saying all of the rest of that crap .. lol
Sigs are good weapons. The Ruger thing was a budgetary decision initially, but quickly became a matter of having spent hundreds of hours training with it (P94DC). When I was instructing, I was the only one carrying a Ruger. Most of the instructors carried either Glocks, Springfields (XDs are popular alternatives to Glocks) or a custom 1911 of some sort (Kimber was a popular choice there). 1911 guys can't ever seem to leave their weapon in the stock configuration, can they? We had one instructor that came through ID with a P226. He was an ex-marine, and deadly with that thing.

If I had it to do all over again it would be a Springfield XD-40.
i played the doubles the weekend before, i was planning on coming out the final day, but went to renny instead, it was too nice out not to play.
Yes, it sounded like the USDGC was a good time. Or at least one of my buddies from Wilmington said it was.
Yeah, I took my fall break to Wilmington to see some old buds and play the Castle. Sounded like a good time though.
Sorry i havent logged on in a while. No cab havent played there in a while. Is that where you have been playing alot? Is that new course by your house broke ground yet?
    Naw, nothing against Buddhists!

    I'm actually anti-early-20th-century-Canadian-women's-hockey.
