In my (extensive) experience with Gators, I've found that a Gator is a Gator is a Gator. I've thrown DX, Star, and Champion, and while I prefer Champ Gators, it's only because of durability (and routine). When a disc is as overstable as a Gator, stability differences between plastics don't tend...
Just busting balls. I bought an S-PD x-out at Marshall Street and tried it out on the course there. I'm a die-hard Teebirder with no real need for a longer version, as I can push a TB out past 350'... any further away and I just throw a 167 Star Boss. I mostly bought it to see if it really did...
The Champ Gator has never and will never leave my bag. In fact, the entire two years I've been throwing Champ Gators I have used the same one, so I might be so bold as to say that I'll throw the same Champ Gator forever, unless I lose it (knock on wood).

That said, no one* will pay that much for a disc golf bag.
Also, it'd better have...
Unfortunately true. Seems that even after the tiniest nick in my Star Bosses they flip with when thrown with any power. At first I thought it was a fluke, but I've been through six Star Bosses and had the same result. Very excited about the Pro Boss, especially if it's as stable as the light...
I had a newish 175 Eco Star flip on me (at a critical point at weekly league) and go sailing right for days. I went out and bought a production Champ XCal that doesn't have identity crisis issues.
Light star Bosses really are the way to go. They're the only Bosses worth throwing for Max D in my opinion, unless you're going to try to turn them and have them flex back, but I prefer the flat-out sweeping hyzer shot. I use my Bosses so I don't have to restrain my arm, I just throw with all...
