So Paige tied for 1st in distance and won putting, good start. Can't wait for scores from the rounds to be posted.

Local Derek Billings shot an otherworldly round of 68 (18 under par 86) on the 27-hole Oaks CSUMB layout!!!

I've kept to myself on the PDGA issues. Today I am so frustrated with not being able to get results at all. The PDGA doesn't seem to understand that their main tool to reach their membership and prospective members is a decent looking and running website. The website is a joke. Its poorly designed and takes way too many steps to get the information you're looking for.

Reading their summit meeting minutes it seemed as if they don't understand what type of people they need to be hiring as consultants. I'm strongly considering not renewing and making all my events I run unsanctioned. All this because of their crappy website.

I'm very frustrated.

Anybody have a picture of nikko without the hair.
Looks like mccabe is going to take it:)

They haven't posted most of the women's scores yet.

They are finally all up. The top 10:
Camilla Jernberg +5 86
Valarie Jenkins +7 88
Catrina Allen +8 89
Desiree Reading +8 89
Sarah Hokom +8 89
Paige Pierce +8 89
Sarah Stanhope +9 90
Liz Lopez +10 91
Kathryn Manley +11 92
Jessie Westphal +12 93

i'm with you- currently their insurance is too good a deal to pass up however. they'll probably find a way to screw that up too eventually.

Some park departments will put you and/or your event on their insurance. I've done that before.

Seems to me they turn a deaf ear to concerns from the membership. I've email questions and the responses are almost condescending.

The one thing I enjoy is running events. I play few events and haven't played a sanctioned event in more than a year. So I have no need or desire for ratings or points. I only join to run sanctioned events.
