Tournament play begins Tuesday, August 9th at 8 AM (central standard time). Please submit predictions before then.
MPO - Pick 5. Your first-listed player is your predicted winner (bonus 5 points)
1st Place - 10 points
2nd Place - 9 points
3rd Place - 8 points
4th Place - 7 points
5th Place - 6 points
6th Place - 5 points
7th Place - 4 points
8th Place - 3 points
9th Place - 2 points
10th Place - 1 point
FPO - Pick 3. Your first-listed player is your predicted winner (bonus 3 points)
1st Place - 5 points
2nd Place - 4 points
3rd Place - 3 points
4th Place - 2 points
5th Place - 1 point
Men's Masters - Pick 2. Your first-listed player is your predicted winner (bonus 2 points)
1st Place - 4 points
2nd Place - 3 points
3rd Place - 2 points
4th Place - 1 point
Women's Masters
Pick the winner - 3 points
Men's or Women's Grand Masters, or either of the Senior Grandmasters
Choose one division, and pick the winner - 3 points
Bonus 1 - Pick the MPO winner: McBeth (3 pts), Wysocki (3 pts), or anybody else (4 pts). For example, if you pick Philo to win, but Schultz wins, you still get 4 points. In this case, the name is just for additional bragging rights . Actually, if you can manage to pick the winner, and it's not McBeth or Wysocki, we might throw in some more points, or an actual disc, or something. That would be kind of impressive, after all.
Bonus 2 - Will McBeth and Wysocki both finish in the top two spots (3 points)? Ties for 2nd only count if they are unresolved (ties for 2nd tend not to be resolved at Worlds).
Bonus 3 - How many strokes will separate 1st and 2nd place? 3 points
Max Total = In the low 80s. Divide by 2 and round down. 40 is roughly the max score, as it generally is in this prediction contest.
Good luck!
