Yah it's been brutal here lately. It got up to like 29 yesterday and you would think from people's reactions spring had come. I'm gonna be driving down to CT and mass more than once in the next month or two just for a glimpse of green grass and of course some disc. My group of friends got through the first half of the winter with plenty of disc ambition but now it's just been beat out of all of us. Lost discs, exhaustion from walking in the snow, and the wet and cold just add up.
You should have plenty of chances to try out that black envy at sims.
As for Punderson, yea if their is any snow on the ground playing playing two rounds on both tees will take a long time. The long tees are a legit 60+ par (60+ ssa as well I think) with many long holes, which on other courses would be 2-3 holes. The other thing is just by the way it's laid out, you often have to walk the full length of the long layout even if you are playing the shorts(1,2,3). Not always but sometimes. Some counter examples where the long tees are tough to find would be 5 (it's SE of 4's basket), 9 (play to the second basket), and 10 (long tee is way to the south of the short tee, you walk to the tee and then double right back after you throw). The final hole is kinda like that too where you have to hike a ways to get to the long tee.
Anyways it's a fun park, free to play, and almost always empty. Like I said prob play the shorts first but keep your eyes peeled for the long tees hidden often in very tight, far off places!![Big grin :D :D](data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7)
