Not sure how many people nerd out on selecting the perfect discs for a minimal but flexible bag setup, but it's been an obsession of mine for a while. So I'm interested in seeing what other folks would do with my constraints.
The rules:
1. Nine molds maximum: putting putter and two each of throwing putters/tweeners, mid, fairway, and distance.
2. Can carry at most two different plastics for each mold.
3. In each category (mid, fairway, etc.), all molds must have the same rim width. (This is the hard part.)
4. The discs in each category should cover every shot from under to overstable.
5. Optional condition: all molds in each category must be made by the same company.
Here are two examples:
#1
Putting putter: Legacy Clutch
Tweeners: DD Suspect (Lucid, Classic), Axiom Theory
Mids: EMac Truth (Lucid), Truth (Classic)
Fairways: Westside Longbowman (TP), DGA Pipeline
Distance: DD Trespass (Lucid, Biofuzion)
#2
Putting putter: Wizard
Throwing putters: Prodigy PA1 & PA4
Mids: Prodigy M2 & M4 (or Discmania MD3 & MD)
Fairways: Legacy Rival & Phenom
Distance: Westside Giant & King
Look forward to seeing any responses, or if I'm out on this OCD island by myself.
