Diamond X weather

I was planning a trip to Diamond X in early May and my question is

Is that too early? I've been to Montana in Late April and it was freezing. Is that typical?

May should be fine. The course will definitely be playable. There will have been enough warm days for all the lingering snow to melt. However, day by day weather can range from sunny and 80's to snowing. The warmer side will be most likely though.

Have fun! I miss the X being my home course. You may want to seek out a local to show you around. The few maps out there aren't terribly accurate.
