So here is a very clear example of why using a cell phone is NOT accurate to measure distance. This is a photo of me standing literally ON the #16 tee pad at Madeline Bertrand park in Niles, MI today and the blue dot is where UDisc thinks I am which by my estimation is a least 20' off. Is that acceptable? Well that's up to you. Is this UDisc's fault? Nope. UDisc is just relying on the accuracy of the phones internal location abilities...

uDisc at least shows its accuracy and the best I've ever seen is +/- 12 feet. The accuracy all depends on how many GPS satellites/cell towers the phone connects to.
