For all those who hate me for what I just was able to do, for all those interested in what roadtripping is all about, for those who just want to see some glimpse of how much fun I had on my roadtrip, here it is:

On the drive to Florida:

2) Bud Hill, Millington, TN
3) Brighton Park, Clinton, MS
4) Lafreniere Park, Metaria, LA

17) Bonita Springs Recreation Center, Bonita Springs, FL
18) North Watertower Park, Sarasota, FL

I had one ace on this trip and about 4 very very near misses
I in fact did work for 3 complete days at my conference
I played 45 holes of golf (real golf) with my father and wife and mother
I played in 10 states (7 of which I had not played in before)
I drove through 16 states

That's really cool. Congrats. Let's see some pics.

*edit*

I didn't mean it was cool that it's over. It's great you got to spend a month golfing.

Should have figured your wife and mother are the same person! Are you from WV or AL? :D

I only take that personal low blow since I do not know how else to vent my jealousy.

I was able to sort of follow your progress by reading your reviews as you posted them. You should have included the number of reviews/tomes you wrote while traveling in your list of things you did on your trip.

Good stuff - welcome back to the tundra!

I'm jealous. I'm glad you had fun. Hopefully nest time we'll be able to get up for a round. That's an awesome month.

.....AND he found time to write a stack of really detailed reviews.

When you play 40 courses in 27 days you better write the review promptly or you will forget details. I have 6 more to go in th enext few days to end the trip.

35) A course I have been sworn to secrecy about.

I want to know more about this...you've got to be able to share at least some tidbit...

I forgot to add I learned what geo-cacheing is all about. We found 5 geocaches and could not find 1, but we also started one of our own. I can see how it would be addicting but I am going to stick to disc golfing. Now if you can disc golf and geocache in the same park both the wife and I will be happy.

I also forgot to add I got my wife to join this site . . . actually she did it on her own. And I helped her throught he review process and she has already garnered 11/12 helpful votes. Look out diamond status!

You know that's not a bad idea. Geo-caching for disc golfers. You could leave a disc that you no longer use. Someone seeks out your geo cache, finds it and perhaps discovers a disc they've been wanting for a long time. Then they leave behind a disc that perhaps they don't want or need.

Wow, what a trip of DGing and other things. I, like others, am jealous;).

Sounds like a great trip with outstanding course selection, but if that's your idea of sworn secrecy, I'm afraid a career with the CIA is out.

Thanks for sharing. That's an awesome road trip.

So which were your favorite courses among the 41?

I thought the course that maybe rymes with Cracket's Cuff is now considered extinct. Too bad because it was a wonderful experieince.

Get a job bum!!! :p

The beauty is I have a job that allows me to do this sort of thing once a year (in my offseason). Owning a business is the only way to go for me now that I have experienced its benefits.
