lookin' good. would love to find a job and move back to austin. fingers crossed.

I went out and walked the course today and it's looking like it will be a gem. Mike Olse walked me through most of the holes and he says that it will be a par 61. Hole 17 has a nice view of downtown from the teebox. Can't wait to get out there and actually play the course.

nice to hear joe,i think it will be a gem too. how is the flow? easy to navigate? par 61 is nasty,i heard lots of true par 4's .

heres another pic guys, just to show the area the course is on from a top view.

quoted from troy herman of waterloo "Imagine the outline as a "cowboy boot": Hole#1 starts near the TOP LEFT of the Boot Shaft (near that small parking lot outlined with yellow)...Hole#16 is at the "toe of the boot" facing westward to the scenic skyline of Austin in the background, and Hole#18 finishes near the MIDDLE [left side] "shaft of the boot" where you see the road come to a left turn/curve. Hopefully that helps you understand how BIG the course is and the layout. This is "Boot Hill" where the course will be designed. Lots of room to throw some discs (inside the RED area not affecting the BLACK areas, etc)"

There is a creek that you cross right after hole 15, but it was pretty dry. I really don't think that it would ever have any water unless it was right after a major rain storm.

Booter hit me up when it opens. Will try to make it down for a couple of rounds.

I can't wait for this course. from the pictures it looks like my kind of course.

I am hearing mid-feb at the earliest. so we at earliest have a month. I am sure it will be more of a "soft" opening like most courses where once the baskets go in we start playing

been a couple weeks. bump for new info.

I'd also like to reiterate that I'd be interested in helping if volunteers are needed (clearing brush, pouring pads, assembling/installing baskets and signs, etc).

nothing new really. if u want to help you can visit the waterloo fb page. just search waterloo disc golf and it should pop up. u can then let them know your interested in helping
