My second dye, the first was a botched shaving cream.

It was a pale orange disc with green stamp. Really like how it turned out.

Dyed first then removed the stamp

DyeingtoPlay did these for someone on a donated River and...dunno what the other was, didn't see it in here, but it deserves another audience

^Thanks for posting these here, LoPan. I forgot to share them here. Plus I like tbirds pics better than the ones I took. His pic really shows the pearliness of that gorgeous river.... and it's even better in person. Second disc is a non pearly white gl saint.

That is incredible work again there, Brian. Pretty discs, and again, with the artwork. Nice!

Here's 3 from the weekend, which I am realizing that during the season will be the only time I can dye, since during the week I'll be throwing after work too much:)

First is a Ti Nuke, which dyes very well in case anyone was wondering. Apparently the symbol is from a game - wasn't for me so I'm not sure. It was my second attempt at shading, I think it worked well.

Second is a pearly Gold Line Mace. Love it. Maybe my favorite one I've done.

Third is a Tournament Boatman. Loved the Mace so much that I did the same thing on this Boatman, but in a smaller area, then spun it out.

These are incredible! The brain waves are so clean and perfect. Looks like a flower.

Great job man!

Hey, thanks! As an added bonus, they're done with iDye Poly so they won't fade in two weeks like a lot of the Punky Colour stuff... :D

I wish you would divulge your secret mixture on this holotone. I sooo want to get this mixture down to try some of my own. ;) I respect your decision either way though.

Seconded . You're clearly the master of brainwaves - share the wealth, bro.

Holotone's secret is he has a UV printer. He's just messing around with Photoshop filters to get the Brainwave look, then printing it on a disc. It's a total scam, and a disgrace to those of us who are true to the art of dyeing a disc over printing on it.

At least that's what I tell myself so I can sleep at night.

Seriously holo, amazing stuff, you're work is so easily discernable with your signature style and BRILLIANT combinations of techniques.

Here's a few that were done a month or more ago that I couldn't post until delivered.

2. Are those trippy looking ones shave cream dyes or soap dyes?

I have a batch of color labeled Magenta. I don't know where I got it, but I've had it for a long time, so I imagine it's old Rit.

The backgrounds are shaving creams with different colors and thicknesses.

I knew it! :D

But seriously, Holotone, you're on another level. I'm always looking forward to what you'll do next.
