What is this disc worth? (Part II)

Well back then they used to mark discs with the mini-stamp instead of letters. So your Roc has the mini-Roc stamp, while a Whippet would have a mini-Whippet stamp. All it really does is date the disc (even though it has a date on the stamp), and I would guess some people have a soft spot for those mini-stamps.

2004 Jbird Sinnisippi Open Viper

I have a 2004 Jbird Sinnissipi Open Viper. Brand new/unthrown 10/10 181g. How much is it worth?

OK, I have been playing for a while but not in the main stream of PDGA members or tournaments so I don't have a huge knowledge of information about discs. My buddy pulled this disc out of his bag and I had to take a pic and ask "What is this disc worth?" But any information would be helpful on the rarity of this disc.

It has the year 1994 on it and it is a rainbow colored stamp. Maybe a 6/10 Sorry about the pic quality, I took it with my phone

Circle stamps are almost exclusively valuable when new. Some people will like them as throwers, but there are only a few older molds like that that command a pretty penny. I'm thinking you have a DX-priced thrower unless someone loves that ol' run of Gazelles.

wont surprise me at all if someone tells me I am way off base on this one with the stamp in that condition and claim its only worth $50, but i gotta believe if it flies like I think it should $60-70 should be fair.

I would think more of the 70 dollar end on this, they are awesome throwers.

which is the same color/stamp, new.

I collect that run of gazelles.

^^^ Cool stamp. It has to be DX from 1996. I am guessing around $30 at that weight, but I am no Roc expert....

That sounds about right. You could possibly get a little more as that is indeed a very rare stamp. I have only seen it a couple of times...ever.

Thanks for the info bcr123psu, phillymatt and psudgc17. But can one of you explain what a field dressed disc is as bcr123psu was talking about?

that stamp does look kind of life less. I don't know why I didn't think of that kind of field dressed thanks kpc2004

I sold a first run 8/10 max wt pulse for 16$ around Christmas there is some extra value over stock prices but you will have to be patient to get it. The challengers if they are from the old stamp challenger time period they will give you 4 to 5 above stock price.

I think the others are probably going to be stock prices. If I am wrong I am sure someone on the interweb will help me out :)

Cheers - Koffee
