Whats in your bag 2007

I'm testing out a new setup right now. It's way more discs than I'm used to having, but there's a lot of stuff I want to try and I think I've been limiting myself too much. I think disc minimalism is a great thing, but I think I went too far for a bit when I could've had a couple more discs and been performing better. That said, I know this is waaayyy too many discs, but I'm testing stuff out. This is going to be my winter setup when I'm not playing too many tournaments and spending more time practicing.

All in a Revolution Dualpack:

Putters:
175g Soft Wizard - driving. straight to turnover.
175g DX Classic Aviar - driving. straight to turnover.
175g 10x KC Pro Aviar - driving. overstable.

170g Star TL - straight, rollers, S-shots, anything.
172g Star Teebird - overstable fairway driver.
172g Champion Teebird - same as above. better skips, different feel.
174g Star Firebird - overhands, spikes and anything overstable.
172g Champion Firebird - same as above. better skips, different feel.

172g Z Avenger - same as above. not sure how long i'll keep using it.
170g Star Destroyer - distance.
172g Star Destroyer - newer. overstable distance.
170g Champion Wraith - distance anhyzers.

BIGS - that must mean your muscles dude, ah youth. I got tired just reading the list. I appauld your ability to just carry all that weight. I can't wait to see how it plays out come spring and what you cut it back to.

How is that FLX Predator compared to Z?

I haven't thrown a Z Pred in a couple of years so my memory is a bit foggy.

From what I do remember, the FLX is more overstable. I played in a tourny this weekend and I was throwing it in 40 mph+ winds and it still wouldn't turn over. I had it keep tracking left on a side arm toss, but it didn't turn.

I'm really liking it so far

My bag has changed a bit since August.

Then:
2x Aviar P&A
1x DX Shark, starting to get a little too understable. Need a new one.
1x DX Cobra, same as the Shark. Starting to fall right.
1x DX ROC, fairly new, learning to throw it.
1x DX beast, fairly new. I've had a couple of nice throws with it. Slowly replacing my Cobra as my go to driver.

Now:
2x Aviar P&A. My main putters.
1x Ryno. Short hole driver, Straight approach shots.
2x DX ROC. One is getting sweet. The other is brand new. The ROC is becoming my go to disc.
1x DX Gazelle. Nice addition to my bag.
1x DX Beast. Haven't used this too much as of late. It had it's moments but now it seems to turnover inconsistently.
1x DX Wraith.

175 x2 Glow Wizards -> Main putting duties, and some straight drives
172 Thrashed SS Wizard -> finesse shots, short turnovers, some jumpers
175 Glow Wizard -> New, for hyzers and windy days

180 S Element -> Finesse midrange, turnovers, some low-power hyzer flips
178 E Element -> Main midrange, covers all shots
180 E ElementX -> Windy days
175 S Demon -> When I play in Kansas :). Lots of wind, and some helix shots

165 E Sabre -> Fairway driver. Full gambit, from anhyzers to straight to hyzer; a few short thumbers too, and a forehand roller here or there

168 E Inferno -> Long anhyzers and straight shots
170 E DiabloDT -> Really long straight shots that finish left. Also, really long S shots
170 E Spirit -> Hyzers of all shapes and sizes, windy hyzer-flips, longer thumbers

---Wow, my bag hasn't changed too much in the past 4 months. Added a new wizard for the wind, and an ELX for the wind. That's about it.
