Apparently a girl killed herself at shady oaks dg course in streamwood and I was there Thursday that would of turned a nice day into a bad one. Good thing I didn't have any terrible throws into the cat tails I wouldn't want to stumble upon a body.

Yeah, no joke. That water was bad enough as it is, when I played it a couple weeks back. I threw my nuke and it hit a tree and fell into that tiny creek on hole 13 (I think) and that water smelled terrible.

That sucks, my last time here that water was low and kinda clear. We played with a random older guy who threw a champ destroyer into that creek but he was able to get it out in seconds with his golden retriever.

The water I am talking about is on hole 9. It's a creek that is all of a foot or so in width but was actually pretty deep. That stuff was bad news

Yeah that one is gross that's a dirty course you always come out with muddy shoes and clothes but I love getting out there and hucking it.

^ I heard about that while I was at work this weekend. The water on that course was probably the dirtiest/sketchiest water hazard I played to begin with.. I'll probably still play the course, but even with a golden retriever that water is so murky and dirty that I'm still nervous when I throw there.

Yeah golden retrievers are only good if u can see your disc n you couldn't see anything in that water on thursday but it was a good day of disc golf

Well i mean when you have no idea where it went it I'm sure if you sat there long enough you can find it.

Also, Silver Lake Country Club in Orland Park is interested in disc golf. They have two 18 hole golf courses and 1 9 hole golf course.
