[Latitude] Lawd have MERCY ...

Never tried one, but I had a couple of EZE Pures and I liked them just fine. My issue with EZE is that it's not in production anymore. Thus, I will continue bitching until we see Zero Hard Mercys. It's a rough life;)

Might be a nice thing to grab while you're waiting for them to get around to taking care of the Mercy fans.

There was a second run of EZE that's softer. They have the weight and mold printed on the disc. I wouldn't recommend them though...

I went straight to the source and this is the response I received from Tomas:

Hello Josh

Yes Mercy will be made in Zero Hard the next time we run it. I'm not sure
how many Mercys we have left on the shelves but I'm pretty sure we have to
make a new batch during the spring.

Thanks
Tomas

Time to start saving!:hfive:

IMO this mold is absolutely underrated. To me it is a much grippier (currently have a couple weight-stamped EZEs) P-P2 (an already underrated mold) with better glide, very similar lines and feel. I also have a pink EZE mercy with a weight sticker and it feels firmer and less tacky (which I assume is closer feel to TM2 which I never felt), but I like the softer, grippier EZE run more. I also recently got a Zero Hard Pure and Sinus for approaches but they seem to be breaking in fairly quickly. Does EZE break in slower than Zero Hard?

Eze beats in faster imho. Zero hard has an amazing sweet spot that sticks around for awhile, and eze justs gets flippier and flippier...but again...just my opinion.

The Mercy is the best upshot putter I've ever owned. A Mercy is a mainstay in my bag.

Just wanted to say I saw Zero Hard Mercys while bumming around the DiscNation website. I know some people wanted them, although I'm not sure when they got released.

Sorry if this is old news :p

Really digging the Zero Hard Mercy. It's very stiff. I prefer Mercy over Pure for driving, upshots, and putting. I'd love to have a Recycled or GL Mercy to save some wear and tear on my Zero Hard.

Zero Hard is sweet plastic for a putter. I am with you on the pure, just didn't jive with it. I had been using the Mercy before and even though it has a deeper rim, I just release it cleaner.

I carry one hard for approaching/putting.

One fresh hard that is kept away from the chains for driving/approaching only.

One soft for approaches that need to land and stick and go for putts outside the circle.

I cant wait to get a Zero Medium when these hit the states.

I use 2 eze-line for putting. I started out with the pure, but the deeper rim gives me a petter feel in my hands.

I started using a zero hard and soft for approaches (with reducing molds/bag in mind). I do have a hard time to throw them in a straight line without having them fade out. So I would put them in an overstable category. Can't compare them to a wizard though, don't have one of those available. But they are definitly nice for drives as well.

guys are making me want to try one maybe. <_<

less stable than a fresh wiz, obviously, yes?

They feel like a beadless Aviar, and are somewhere between a beadless Aviar and a Wizard in stability. They have more bite at the end than a Pure (I think. Haven't thrown a Pure)

I liked them when I used them (in old Zero, and Strawberry) I could go back to them, maybe. But they'd have to fight off my Rhynos and Magnets.

The EZEs I tried were slower and glidier with slightly less LSS than fresh Wizards. They reminded me of a Warlock (what little I threw them).

The Zero Hards fly nice and straight when you put the snap on them especially in the 174/175 weights. I would rate them as "stable". When you beat them in pretty good the get a nice slightly understable flight on drives or longer approaches.

this might have to be my new experiment, then. they fit better in a powergrip than a wizard/warlock despite still being a deeper putter, i get a better pinch point which has been a major problem for me since using the wizard. i love my wizards, but if i can't get a good grip then there's nothing else much to say.

i already know i love zero hard, so i guess i'll just have to go buy one.

I absolutely adore the Wizard for putting but was never a huge fan driving. I bag a PA2 in its place and love it. It even has some extra glide comparatively so it's a nice overstable complement, driving-wise, to my Pures.

yeah, i'm really trying to stick by a "do it all" type putter. the problem with wizards and myself is that i can't get a good pressure point under the flight plate without also pressing the side of my index finger into the bead and getting a sloppy release.

as far as how it drives and putts, it blows me away and i love it. but if i can't be consistent with it then it can't stay in the bag, which is kind of upsetting.

i was looking at PA2s today too. i used to use PA4 for driving and putting, but found the edge would warp upward significantly after hitting a couple trees which was disappointing. not sure if the PA2 has the same problem; i really prefer to drive my putters in base plastic and the recent 300 i've felt has been a little too "rubbery" for my taste. the zero hard is perfect IMO, surpassed only by gateway soft. the classic hard is too slick and too hard.

i will probably be snagging a mercy and a PA2 within the next week . . . i was going to head to GGGT before the snow hit . . . so much for that plan.

anyway it will be fun to try some new putters, the mercy might be the dark horse i'm looking for if it can hold up with more power. it feels similar to the wizard for putting which will be a plus.

so i snagged a ZH mercy today along with two warlocks, a pa2, a pa1, opto pure and ZH pure.

i have to say i did like the mercy . . . until i went full retard and lost it. that was a little frustrating. i think it feels similar enough to the wizard, but all of a sudden when i was trying to putt it just . . . didn't feel right. the wizard is just too great.

after driving with all of these, i see now why you have a PA2, a pure and a wizard. i may wind up with a similar setup. as fun as this experiment with mold minimizing has been, it may be time to go back to more slots now that i have improved much since the summer. i will be putting out an amber alert with the locals for my mercy and ordering another. it may be the putter i'm looking for.
