Snow in SoCal in April???

The better half and I got up to Sky High DGC this last weekend for the second time since it's been reopened for the season. Love this course!

Drop in par

Snowbank tombstone :D

This is a funny one... My wife threw her Diamond as a second shot off hole #10. The hole is a 'top of the world' type hole and the winds were blowing pretty good that day, so as soon as she throws, a big gust of wind comes along and pushes her disc into this huge pine tree, about 120' up. It was definitely stuck up there! After waiting for a few for it to maybe come down I stepped up, threw my shot, got our gear together and got going, but I could tell she was really frustrated and on the verge of tears. I asked her to give me a hug and told her we would get a new one, and as soon as we hugged, another gust of wind comes along and down comes the Diamond!! She was so happy she had to go show some love to the tree...

I believe that pic would go in the "NOT cool disc golf picture" thread.

Who would want a rat with a furry tail crapping and peeing all over the inside of your nice dg backpack?

I'd be more worried about lice, fleas, ticks, and/or mange. :\ :gross:

Closest I have ever been to an ace.

Still haunts me to this day.

Don't let it haunt you, it was going to bounce off the pole and ricochet out, judging by how hard you threw it to make it wedge like that.

This picture screams "summer" to me. The lush foliage, the super bright sunshine.... I've been happy with my winter/early-spring rounds, but after seeing this I'm ready to sweat!

How far is it to the opening? To the polehole? If it's too far, it seems like the smart "golf" thing to do would be to lay up every time and play for the 3, which could possibly take away the risk/reward and make it somewhat boring to play.
