I haven't seen a drop this big in a long time. I've been so use to the 1 or 2 disc announcements! Definitely not complaining. The more the better.

Pretty cool, pretty cool. Maybe proton tesla will have some more beef, who knows? Would be nice since I lost my Mike c.

Rreeeeeeeeally holding out for that baseline though...

Hey I've been thinking of checking out the motion, I throw a couple firebirds and a orc, mainly OH tommys, just curious if you ever throw OH and how the motion handles it

I've been using mine since the Einstein release, and flies like any very overstable driver would OH. Slow pan, once the disc is completely upside down in the air it accelerates into the second part of the flight (fade). Sounds awesome on paper but it's a bit jerky and makes tight gaps 200'+ out a lot harder to gauge than my trusty old Banshees for instance (threw them for years). If you sky one out just a bit too high or are forced to throw near vertical you'll notice it runs out of gas as soon as the first turn is finishing.

I also throw a lot of OH with more neutral drivers (JLS+OLF for a while, now the Crave covers both) and almost always prefer them OH to really overstable molds. A little adjustment of the nose and release angles and the Crave will go farther for sure.

Do people think about OH nose and release angles as much as BH/FH? Honest question - I know I do. Some might not though?

I certainly do. I am almost always adjusting the release point of my disc to make it turn sooner or later or giving it more height vs a low line drive rather than figuring out how 5 different discs do overhand.

soft n envys but no soft n ions? go **** yourself mvp.

im not buying any discs from this release. and thats coming from a guy with a grip bag stuffed with nothing but overmolds. im so disappointed.

Though I don't throw Ions anymore, I feel your pain.

I want a neutral/US Envy putter with a straight inner rim. I would still be using Ions if it wasn't for the curved inner rim:mad:

Proto Magic/Pa4 with an overmold has been in my dreams for a while now.

Soft neutron is great plastic though glad to see it rolling out finally. I am actually starting to like a more firm putter for putting as they seem to give a cleaner release on longer push putts. I have been using some mediums along with softs for practice basket and feel a switch coming in my future to harder ions.

If its gonna be regular production in the Envy I'm sure we will see it in the Ion/Anode soon enough. I do however feel your pain. They shoulda released all three at once. Kinda crappy to those that have been loyal to the first two discs they made.

Probably helps that I've been pushing hard for the Soft N Envy :)

Real pumped for these and P Teslas. Hope to see Eclipse Teslas soon!

Still waiting on the super top secret "Experimental Formula" discs.

The curiosity is going to kill me.

^^Wondering the same! It's a weird photo. It sort of looks like they put the wording inside that beaker graphic they use on x outs.

Seems like a pretty big overreaction.

I'm wondering if they are doing the Soft N Envy because it's popular being the new kid on the block, and using the sales data to gauge whether or not to Soft N's for Ion and Anode? It seems like a very MVP thing to do to analyze all that data to determine something like that.

Another query: for those that HAVE thrown soft N Ions, how do they compare to the early run soft opaque Proton Ions? Trying to judge the soft N Envies.

Lastly, I wonder if have plans to release Proton Motions? I do love the Proton blend, but I bet the P Motion would be mad beefy. I'd dig it

In my experience opaque proton Ions are a little softer than Soft N's, but Soft N's have the edge in grip.

Nothing MVP has put out competes with Soft Neutron for grip. To say I'm excited for these hitting production is a huge understatement :)

Has anyone thrown a Proton Inertia in the low 150's? Curios to know if they fly a little more US than a 170's and if they have similar distance.

When is MVP going to come up with some really fast distance drivers? I really like the MVP discs I have and I'd kill for some 13 speed MVP stuff.

i'd be willing to bet they are cooling their jets on the disc front for a little bit. probably releasing more stuff in proton if possible, working on base plastic.

i'd love to see their distance drivers, though. be interesting to see if they can keep up with some of the glidier ones. aka destroyers.

I have thrown a 150's N Inertia, and it's a tick less stable. I assume the Protons would follow that pattern.
