2014 United States Disc Golf Championship

I think Lizotte will be in contention, but get some unfortunate skips OB

... and my pick is: Nybo :)

I think he has a good chance. Winthrop is an oddity that a forehand doesn't provide a significant advantage on many holes. I played thru KJ and his coach/buddy Saturday on the Coliseum hole. I've never seen someone bomb with as low of effort, it was disgusting. He was throwing Destroyers the way a Comet is thrown. All of his drives were landing just short of the drop zone (575' or so but with elevation help).

is there somewhere to see the rounds for all those that tried to qualify?

Doubtful. They rarely ever publish anything but the qualifying scores. There are usually an awful lot of incomplete rounds and even completed rounds that don't get turned in because the player knows the score isn't good enough to qualify.

yeah that's pretty much what i was thinking as well.. thanks!

im excited for the performance flight this year. NEFA hero, zach longeill, will be playing for the first time. hes been playing on another level after coming back from AM worlds, recently finishing 1 stroke better than the pro field and has been hitting big putts, 50-90', somewhat routinely.

I was gonna post that pic from hole 5's fairway that Matt posted the link to and say something about how that's where I'll be on Thursday (spotting, likely on hole 5's first segment), but that pic is just huge. But anyway, I can't wait til Thursday.

10:20 is clearly the best card. you get the hippie, bobby hill and two gunslingers

i'd also be down to watch 10:10 just because Will usually plays the course really well and Schwebby is always fun to watch.

I like both the 8:50 tee time and the 10:10 tee time. 10:20 is hard to beat for sure though. I would absolutely love to see as much of JohnE and Matty O as possible. Fun guys to watch and I think the early tee time for JohnE will do him well, especially playing with Matty O who finished top 10 last year. Will, Jared and Shweby at 10:10 has that feel like something magical could happen. 10:20 is by far the most stacked card. Man I wish I wasn't working the opening shift tomorrow.
