2014 United States Disc Golf Championship

What was Brown even doing on that hole? He stubbied his drive after throwing it very quickly, and then threw his 2nd shot seemingly without even stopping at his disc -- just walked up to it and threw his putt and it went in. Had he given up at that point?

And yes, it looked like he might have continued on to the next hole, although I don't think the camera followed him. So courtesy violation on both of them.

More egotistical dribble
this is exactly what i expected out of you. deflection when called out on your BS posts trying to act like you had first hand knowledge of a topic when really the only thing you knew was the hearsay you picked up from your Pro buddies. at least DGCR now knows your true colors.

you are to funny JT. 2 years hugh? i was going on a hunch last year that, that was you filming on the last day of the championships. the hunch was confirmed when you replied to the PM I sent you trying to smooth things over after the championships were in the books. This year the only time i saw you was at the distance championships. as the other times i was busy on the course being a second tier volunteer. You want to find out who i am ask bravethrower43 we are good friends. Heck ask any of the innova east staff and 3/4's of the volunteers. they will steer you to me with ease. I have absolutely no desire what so ever to take my time to meet or interact with the likes of you. /internet pissing match.

Plot twist:

BgWvDave is also BraveThrower43.

Back to on topic, I credit Schustericks success this year to finally getting used to those zombies who are chewing on his neck while he sleeps.

Holy **** that's funny. I've wanted to ask about that for awhile now, but I doubt anyone here knows what the cause for the scarring is. But I.know exactly what you ate referring to and your post did indeed make me laugh.

Can't remember where I read it, but it is supposedly from a severe bout with poison ivy/oak.

I've been thinking that a fastball thumber would be a good shot on #17. Has Matt Dollar ever played the UDSGC?

There is a net placed in the vegetation above the tee. It's designed to prevent overhand throws.

So the 2 guys that holed out first and went to the next hole should get courtesy violations?

Yes, by rule:
"
801.04 Courtesy
B. Players should watch the other members of their group throw in order to aid in locating errant throws and to ensure compliance with the rules.
"

That was already posted above. Is there some part that isn't clear?

it would take two of me to make one BraveThrower43. That dude is a beast! those leaderboards are way heavy and that man hoists them up for 18 holes. Dude is a beast!

Haha thanks Dave.

Pretty sure I'm getting weaker every year. It was a lot easier a few years ago when I was still working out daily

I watched McFly version of the finals now too. Somehow those quick cuts to action and lack of commentary take the excitement and context out of each shot. I realize that sounds thankless for a free service but its just empty. On the other hand: its fast. I look forward to the spin TV version.

The speech is included though, and that speech by WS was so heartfelt and emotional I had to clap here in my hotel room. It makes you want to continue at whatever you may be struggling to achieve.

so true, i wish he had the central coast guys commentating, love those guys.

on another note, it was good to see mcbeth and schusterick being a little more friendly with each other. i did read on schusterick's AMA about how they're basically not friends anymore, feel like it'd be good for the sport for them to bury the hatchet, however small it may be.

Errant tapins?

Everyone on that card in every tournament would have a dozen courtesy violations by your logic.

There is an "and" in there.

exactly...if someone isn't watching the cardmates shots, it puts more pressure on everyone else to locate errant throws AND ensure compliance with the rules. How freakin irritating is it to have that one guy on the card who never watches others drives, and can't effectively help look for them. In this case, since Brown and McCray both ditched the card, Shusterick could do a walking putt because nobody's around to second a call by McBeth.

The argument above is, it happens all the time therefore its OK. Well why is that? Why do people not watch others putts? Why do people stop and stand with their back turned to it? I have never understood that, do they think it helps their opponent make the putt, or miss the putt, or they just can't bear to watch, or what? It's weird no matter how you slice it. Yeah you see it all the time, but just because a lot of people do it doesn't mean it's not a violation. The rule is clear. You're supposed to watch the shots of the people on your card.

I credit your comment to your immaturity.

You strike me as the type that would meet an amputee and shout "Holy **** dude, what happened to your leg??"

No couth....

And still by that logic. They'd all have a dozen violations.

What's your point, are you saying the rule should be deleted from the rulebook or what?

BTW there is no logic involved, it is a clearly written rule.

It's a (another) poorly worded and pretty useless rule.

As far as the 'and', if we want to get into semantics. Define 'should'
