Which would you Rather?

Would you rather a hole in one on a par 3 hole, or $10?

Would you rather $10 or an ace on a par 3 hole? Of course, assume that you don't win any bets from the hole in one. As for the hole, it would be under 250', but would require a curved disc path.

I know this is a specific question. There is an idea behind it though; it's not just a random poll

Maybe I'm dumb, but the question seems a bit confusing. Are you basically asking, what's better, an ace, or money? I'd rather have my first ace, than $10. The memory is worth much more than that.

I have a job that pays well, so I'm going with ace.

That's an experience worth more than $10.

There are so many unknowns. In general, would I rather have $10 than a random ace? Sure. Why not? If solo or casual, an ace is just a throw. If a tourney or league, something that pays an ace, things are obviously a bit different. $10 can buy beer or something. Far too many unknowns.

^^ All of your "unknowns" amount to one question, "does the ace pay money or not?" He already answered that, No. I mean, that much is obvious, right? We don't need to know the answer to whether you want a pile of money or $10.

Give me an the ace.

You must not have many aces. Cool.

An ace isn't giving me a burrito, a sixer or half a tank of gas. I'm not broke by any means, but an ace really isn't all that. Unless it's a tourney, an ace is just another throw. If you choose to dwell in the halls of memory, reliving that day when you had a lucky throw, good for you. Some of us outgrow that Al Bundy "I was high school star" mentality.

I have a dozen aces and many more $10 bills so I'll take the ace.

Are you a TD selling 1s? That's entirely different.

To put a value on the experience of really getting an ace, you'd need to add some zeros. The poll should be about how many zeros.

To cut two throws off my score by buying a $10 cheat code? Maybe, if it was for charity and everyone else is expected to do it. But I wouldn't be at all happy about it. I'd rather just give $10.

Why choose? If you're with a couple of guys who pay '51' money, you can have both.

This question might be a more debatable argument if we were talking say...$100.

Come on. You know you'll always remember the first one.

but if you're just throwin' around ten bucks i'll take it off your hands too.
