[Innova] FD/Fairway Disc/Dark Rebel/Hawkeye

My theory. Hailey king wasn't supposed to say it was a halo FD, but she did. Oops. Innova marketing strategy was to say it's a different mold, which is what Dunipace is now saying. It's not really a big deal either way, whether he lied or not.

Good call, new approved name was fairway disc and she referred to it as the FD in her video.
Simple mistake, especially being a new team member but I'm sure that didn't help Innova out at all.

ok so is the Hawkeye and the Dark Rebel the same disc? Because it was my understanding that the Dark Rebel aka orginal Fairway Disc was the FD.
I guess this is what I had heard in a reddit thread: Xero = P1X, Dark Rebel = FD, Phantom Sword = PD, Metal Knight = MD3
They were unsure about he Hawkeye but someone mentioned it was an FD2 I haven't thrown or held it so can't say.

and for got the new Dynasty by infinite is all but confirmed that it is the CD2
Can say with 100% certainty it is not an FD2. 3 tooled FD2 is money though so hopefully that comes soon.
It appears to be a halo FD possibly a slightly retooled one with a .1" smaller diameter.
The rest are correct AFAIK and from holding them in hand comparing them, though I am unfamiliar with the P1X.
Also hearing infinite solstice = md4 and dynasty = cd2 though I have not personally compared these molds.

Millennium Solstice but yes I have heard that. Also the infinity Chariot is the MD3 as well. I'm also pretty damn sure that the Millennium Omega4 is the actual P2. I don't have an original P2 but my buddy does and the Omega4 is pretty much identical and the new P2 is not the same, good putter but not actually a P2.
Man the Hawkeye and FD2 retool is crazy close in numbers but not identical
But honestly do I need any of these discs? I already have a TL and TL3 and Leopard3 so no not really

Yes I would love a Halo Eagle! But hard to beat a champ Eagle!
Solstice is a Millennium disc.
The chariot is the aurora MS with a bead. More specifically the 1.8 run QMS. Yes they are similar to the original MD3, but not the same. I also have older standard auroras with a bead but no run number. In my experience Innova MD3s are more flat, while chariots have a little dome.

Interesting, multiple pros including Erik Oakley and Joel Freeman said if you want an MD3 and can't get one to just get a chariot. Either way I got a new MD3 and it was meh nothing special
Similar discs in feel and flight, but definitely not the same.
I don't think there are too many pros who geek out on mold differences quite like we do here. Some of us are literally taking calipers to discs and comparing them to a website's measurement. We're nerd losers who aren't good enough to tour(me anyways). It is good advice because the md3 and chariot are VERY similar, but they're not the same mold. It's easier to sell more chariots if you compare it to a hard to get popular mold, than if you compare it to some random run of a disc no one cares about(I throw auroras though I swear).
Further research....they just got the new DM FD too, not for sale yet but I got to fondle it. DR left, FD right, both of these look and feel like FDs to me as well. Plastic is more firm on the FD. I haven't purchased any Italian blend but it feels more firm, less tacky than the stuff I've fondled.
Feels like a winner to me, I'd wager it's on the OS side of FDs. I'd happily purchase some once they get the supply chain worked out and they don't cost $29.99.

Why does Innova hate making pink/orange Halo discs? I even posted on their restock announcement on FB that I wanted pink/orange. Color doesn't really matter to me, but it's nice to have the options.

wasn't the FD2 a banshee top (more dome) and a FD bottom? so a Hawkeye with more dome fits that bill?

Hawkeye numbers are weird. 3 glide on a -1/1 disc? Infinite has 74(right now) in stock.
