Blue Ribbon Pines gets a ZERO?

I think I'm going to go out driving drunk tonight since there are no signs on the road saying that I can't.

if a police office pulled you over and tried to write you a ticket for wearing a green sweater on a tuesday, would you want to see where it was written that you cant wear a green sweater on a tuesday, or would you just pay the fine?

If you get pulled over for speeding but don't know the speed limit do you get out of the ticket?

Anyway got any more dumb ways to let me know you don't get it?

I just broke into my neighbor's house because it didn't have a sign on it that said "no breaking in to my house through the back window".

edit: damn you Scarpfish.

I think someone isn't telling us the whole story here.

it is written in the laws of the state/country the speed limit laws and drunk driving laws.

when I say show me where it says that you cant use the rakes to search for your disc (i was using the rake, not in the pond), I'm not talking right there on the hole. I'm talking in the club house on the walls, on the course, on the scorecard, or in a damn rule book, I really don't care. Show me that rule, and I will admit I'm wrong. enforce that rule equally and I will not think you are an *******.

How many people in this thread have actually played at Blue Ribbon? I'm seeing a lot of you that are from out of the state, and just want to know who has actually been there, and how many are just jumping on the bandwagon because they are following everyone else?

Quick question. Your out playing, and a friend throws a disc in a pond. you walk up to the pond, and there is a giant rake with a 12 foot pole connected to the end of it sitting on the edge of the water. Do you:

A. Grab one of the rakes and try to see if you can rake your disc up from the bottom of the pond.

B. Grab a rake, climb in the water up to your knees, and try to rake your disc out because by being in the water a little you have a longer reach.

C. Keep walking by and call the disc a loss.

Now, I'm sure some people will go with C, but if there is a rake sitting on the side of the water with a 12 foot pole on it, I'm going to grab it and see if I can maybe save my disc, because the odds of you getting it back are slim to none (face it, some people are just *******s. In that situation, if it was my first time at the course, and I saw a rake sitting there, I'm not going to think that there is a rule against getting your disc from the water. I'm going to assume that the course provided them for just that situation.

I've played Blue Ribbon and lost discs two rounds in a row (though I did find one also; and was the one I lost the second time through). Down with Blue Ribbon!!! Down with it!!!

and how did you find the lost disc?

Was stuck in the mud on the edge; mostly hidden. I didn't notice any rakes when I was there. But; also didn't notice any signs telling me not to go in for plastic. It was late fall when we were there though; and I wasn't interested in going in...I bring along crapola discs for water shots these days; as so many new/good courses have tough water holes....

"I lost a $10 disc. I'm going to give the course a horrible review because of it." - twizzeteddmn

and for some people the $10 disc is worth spending 5-10 mins with a rake looking for it. but when the owner of the course disrespects you and your friends by threatening to kick you out due to a rule that may or may not exist with no real explanation, that is worth a bad review.
