I found them to be nearly identical in flight, but preferred the hand feel of the Zone. Though I now use Mortars in that slot.

I tried one out, but it was too similar to my Deflectors. Great disc if you like Trilogy.

The Deflector has taken away some shots from the Resistor, but the latter still rules for thumbers.

I generally don't like beads but most microbeads feel beadless to me.

When I started, I used a DX Stingray in this slot. Nothing quite like it, but DX beats in so fast. The closest I've come to it is a VIP Tursas. The new DD Patrol is similar in flight with a different hand feel.

The Anvil is super beefy, similar to the Deflector.

I bag both. The Maul is much flippier. Great for long turnovers and hyzer flips. I like to throw the Maverick flat and let it turn around an obstacle then fade back to the target.

How much power does a guy need to make a Shryke fly well? I just found a Kyra Nolens at PIAS.

Amazing timing on your necro bump. I tried the Slammer when it came out. Liked it but it didn't make the bag. Recently got a Classic (or whatever BT HARD is) in a player's pack. It was windy so I decided to try it out. Worked well for short headwind approaches. I'll give it a test ride this...

Over the past few months, I've purchased or traded for 11 Mortars in four different plastics. I'm probably not done, but even if I were, I figure it's a lifetime supply.

I disagree. I push putt with a Dagger but would never throw it. For longer putts, I spin a Deputy. I approach with Proxy, Atom and Mortar (a mid, but I use it for short approaches when I want a lack of glide and a sure fade).

I call that a Mortar.

I use the Axiom Theory as a slower Comet. Below that, try a Tui or Deputy.
