[Gateway] Gateway Wizard

^ pretty wizard.

This one is mine. Not gritty, but more grippy and smooth at the same time while still being firmish.

I swear I have the same putter in light blue and I can't find a replacement. It's very flat/almost yeti pro-ish. Labeled SS but Def the stiffness of a S. Smooth like a KC Aviar but better feeling.

Really firm supersoft. Perfect grip and nice stamp!

New soft. Definitely not "soft".

Question about wizard history. When did they decide to change the tooling on the bottom like this? Grams on left blank, flex on right blank. Model on bottom blank.

Tooling changed early this year.
The new tooling allows him to remove the plate for proprietary molds like the Scale and AK-47

I have a white one a lot like what you are describing - it's a blank S that I ordered from Phantom Discs.

Between RDG and Phantom, Wizard users are extremely spoiled right now lol

Jamie, when you say full run, are we talking 1,000? 10,000? How diligent are we going to have to be about stockpiling?

I pre-ordered 250.
Dave typically runs more so hopefully we don't have to have a mad rush on them.
You all know I'm not here to create a collectors market on these things. I want them to be used and abused by the masses of Wizard lovers.

I am thinking of getting a Wizard and am wondering if anyone can give me comparisons to the feel of other discs: by that I mean, what would "Soft" compare to, what would "Super Soft" compare to, etc.? I know they're not really soft soft, but just a comparison of the Wizard's various plastics to other brands so I can get an idea would be greatly appreciated.

Soft is pretty comparable to trilogy hard. Super Soft is a little more soft but not quite medium from trilogy I would say. Best bet is to find someone with some gateway to feel them in person.

I will also add that firmness is variable with gateway, some marked S will feel on the SS side and you may find a SS that is S firm. Once you get a blend you like you can let the gateway specialist vendors know (RDG, phantom or gateway) and they can duplicate it.

yep, and some s is hard like porcelain. so you could find a soft driving wizard to go with your soft putting wizard. not only that, but you have such a huge variation in varying grip and textures it's

Went through the stacks of Wizards at Infinite today. They had some that just came in marked SB. Really tight shoulders, max weights and baby blue. Really flat too, felt just slightly less stiff than my 1st run Fossil Lizards.

Curious if anyone knows what SB is for. Might be really close to what Fossil Fuel is supposed to be but I haven't had any of that blend from RDG. Outer edge of flight plate had a lot of chalky streaks too.
