I have to wonder what the point is for a disc they're not submitting for PDGA approval. They've got release numbers by color and plastic and everything.

XB Experimental Disc

The XB features a unique flight plate design. The idea was to create a design that among other things was geared towards lighter and faster discs. The original design mindset was to augment Japan Open Class (152g ~ 159.9g) with 'XB' mold characteristics. Innova planned on releasing the design but decided to take a new direction.

I think it's supposed to have a driver-like rim. Apparently Dave D. is always tinkering with molds and stuff, they're just now putting them out for sale more often.

"We have a 13/14 speed driver coming out December. It will be in Pro plastic at first. It hasn't been submitted for approval yet."

"Right now the only specs are that it is about a 13/14 speed and a 3/4 glide. The high speed is -2/-3 depending on nose angle and the low speed is 0 to +3, again depending on nose angle. Right now they will be offered in low weights predominately from 157gms up to about 164gms. Can't post the name until we get it certified."

XB is not going to be submitted to PDGA...it's a doomed experiment. They're just selling the prototypes to collector-goobers

There's a s#it-ton of confusion about all the Innova hi-speed rigs coming out....

My pal bought some of these XB's thinking they were wahoo protos.
He's not too happy

Just list 'em on Ebay. They'll sell, and probably at a profit. I bought most of the XBs they had over 170 because those were more rare and people are always hot for heavy discs, for whatever reason.

ha. beat ya

so i got my xbs in. weird disc, reminds me of an x clone kinda. now thinkin both molds were the same, i realized one wing is alot wider than the other. hard to tell what wings theyre using but one is def different from the other. i was thinking these were more mid like, these are def drivers. one is marked "su" the other "w" assuming the w was for wahoo in the beginning. anywho both are from different batches according to the #'s on them. cool discs,i wanna throw one but now that theyre different,i dont think i will

btw. this champ plastic is TITS. very tacky and grippy. not too stiff, not too gummy

Booter
Could you get a pic of you gripping the disc? It seems as it would be awkward to get a good grip on

i actually dont have a problem gripping them . where my thumb goes ,isnt where the groove is.

whats a zj. i will bring em out but i aint throwin em. these are the wall hangers :)

also the diffference in the rim size between the 2 is about 1-2 cm's

You use the dastardly 3 finger grip!

I know some dudes who can bomb with that! Would you believe me if I told you the longest arm thrower I play with only grips with 2 fingers?
