St. Louis got a course in 1979. It took close to 10 years to get a second. About 5-6 years after that the third and fourth went in. How about some west coast clubs?

They also made 500 members a goal and made a big push to jump up from around 200 to 500 members. There were incentives to members to sign up new members, competition between course captains to have the most members list their course as their "home" course, stuff like that. Had they just sat back and waited for people to join they would probably still be a 200-300 member club.
Going by bag tag numbers 60 something, but we'll sell anyone a tag. I'd say the hardcore part of the group is more like 20.
