Love that final fantasy disc! Do you guys use plotters?

This disc is my first spin try and now first stencil try. I learned acetone wrinkles the stencil.

Second stencil test dye came out a lot better. Used alcohol rather than acetone.

I thought I'd share this. The bong looks "clear" by just cutting the basket lines but not removing any vinyl.

some people do, some people don't. i probably would if i could afford one; it would let me do designs more intricate than my non-artsy hands can handle. as it stands, i just cut out the image and trace. swiveling xacto knives help keep long curves more smooth, but you can do the same thing by rotating a straight one between your fingers as you pull it across the vinyl.

and good job!

This is sweet, great disc, great tip!

Here's one for the hardest working guy at Rosedale, Bob Ward.

Alright, I've been following this for a long time, and this is my first dye attempt. Moon Knight on a Z zone. overall, I am pretty satisfied.

That is some SICK mini porn!! Dan, you must have worked quite a while on those. Awesome job!

Dan....I don't know how many extra hours you had to keep the sweat shop open, but I hope you paid them the overtime they deserved!

1. -- that brainwave is simply the best example of the technique I've ever seen.

2. -- the designs of all the minis are AMAZING. You could've mailed it in but they all look unique and incredible.

3. Do you have a total count? I'm rough guessing around 365, which means you could have started your own personal DOTD thread JUST for the minis....which is frickin' amazing!

^my thoughts (almost) exactly.
Dan is just on another level.

In other news, I'm happy with this one **working my way up**

so, i've done a couple dyes now. figured i'd hop on the bandwagon. this one turned out wonderfully for me; by far the best one i've done. some bleeds, preventable, not very happy about those...but i might be able to cover them up by adding a little bit to the image. we'll have to see. anyway, it's the logo from final fantasy x, a video game i enjoyed quite a bit. and props to all you guys that have been helping us first-timers. to be honest, it sucks having to figure stuff out because i don't have extra discs or money to burn, but the information here was enough to help me get started.

this is a first run GL mace. i'll probably never throw it, but i saw the glopto-ish look and the pearliness. had to dye it. next up i'm going to dye my white GL striker.

Ummm someone do this for me?
