I decided to giver vibrant another try. I've always wanted to love my vibrams. I have an unthrowable for me flippy ascent, and a trak that I've never meshed with... It is awesome for short thumbers tho so it's in my bag.
So for my birthday I had my mom get me a lace. Got it from Justin at communitydiscs. He is the best by the way. I have a nice 169 blue and red lace. First thing I did was give it a nice scrub to get it grippy. Then out to the field to throw it with my other digtance drivers.
I mainly throw archons for stable and understable, then a champ destroyer for my overstable needs. I throw my archons about 375 on golf lines. I don't use my destroyer much so I initially was hoping my lace would replace it. I don't have a huge arm and don't have to throw into headwinds much so I figured the lace would be stable enough for what I need.
I just love this disc. I instantly felt confident with it. With a flat release, throwing all out, it stays straight, turns a little and has the fade I want at the end. I put back to back throws past my basket set up at 400 feet today. I'm just so happy with it.
With all that said... Can anybody compare the unLace to an archon? I like to throw the same molds if possible most of the time and I could see the unLace possibly replacing my archons.
