What the hell?!? I always look through the sporting goods sections at thrift stores hoping someones parents or grandparents decided to donate their "frisbees".
This looks like a helluva good deal. Can I just walk into a Costco and buy it w/o being a member? Someone once told me I could go in and buy beer there but had to be a member to get most other stuff.
This was probably already answered but if not.... No, you have to be a member to buy anything other than beer/wine/cigs as those items are controlled by the states & therefore cannot be restricted to club members only.

Just bought a couple so I can Safari around town since my imagination seems to be bigger than the local parks and rec dept. The Costco number is different this year it's #631310. Price $69.99

what about the santa rosa costco? maybe one in rhonert park possibly as well? thats only 1.5 hours north of san fransisco. could be worth it if you really want one lol

This morning I wandered into a local Costco (Carlsbad, CA) and what do I run into? The basket is back in stock! I was so excited I almost ran to get a cart to load one up. I think it is $70 and includes 3 discs. After some brief hyperventilating, I passed it by. Got taxes to pay.
So, be sure to check your local Costco and score one of these, with no shipping costs.
Same basket is now at the Costco in Mettawa, IL. I was this/close to buying one yesterday. I hope they still have some when I can afford to buy one or two or ten. :thmbup:

I picked one up today in Bolingbrook, IL. I ended up calling my local Costco which didn't have it of course and asked them to look up the item #631310 and she told me that about 10 stores in my area had about 30 on average as of this afternoon but they wouldn't be able to ship it to my local store.
When I picked mine up I had to go searching for it and finally asked and nobody seemed to know where it was. Finally the manager said that they placed it at the back of the store because that is the area where they put stock that isn't being sold and trying to attract customers. As of now in the Chicago area these aren't flying off the shelves and I might wait another week and see when they drop the price again.

I don't think it is available online as someone may have said already. Call them and use the product code, make sure to ask where it's at if they don't have it they will tell you where it's available in your area. They will not ship in between stores, you will have to go and get it in person.

When I called they listed the number of units available at each store. Each store was well stocked. If you have to travel far call ahead and they might plenty available so you might not need to rush out but it also depends on what your local scene is like, if you think there is gonna be a run on them use your own best judgement when to pounce. I have a feeling they're will be a price drop on these in the Chicago area, they are not moving right now. Gonna wait a week and get another for even less.
Just tried this, the total came up as $84.50 with free shipping. Worse deal than both Costco and Ebay.

Nothing in stock for #631310 at any of the three Houston area Costcos...
I would call them back and have them check for the closest store with it. I had to literally push this with the people I talked to on the phone and after a minute I had a list of all the stores. Granted there are many Costco's in my area but I wouldn't just stop at what they tell you, dig it out of them for info, they may end up telling you something that they didn't at first and you might be able to call a friend to pick it up if it's close to were they live. Just a suggestion, as I found them to be evasive at first and kinda felt shutout until I pushed them for more info. Good Luck
