Honestly I have had this disc in my bag for two months and hadn't thrown it before tonight. But I definitely enjoy having it in my bag. I believe I purchased it because they claimed it was a "faster buzzz". Well, that appears to be true. The difference is almost indecipherable, but I feel like it does come out my hand faster than the Buzz. Will this always come in handy? Not really, but my bag just got better now that I realize how to utilize the Zombee. Judging by my username, I'm sure you guessed I am already an avid user of the Buzz. Currently throwing a 168 FLX Buzz, a 177 Ti Buzz, and my OLDEST disc in the bag - A 167 elite Z Buzz. The Zombee fits nicely with those and my 174 FLX Drone.

What does everyone else think of the Zombee????

Ah yes I think we can deal with a maximum of two Zombee threads. Anyway, anyone feel free to respond to my thread :)

Why don't you just go to the other thread? They are literally the exact same topic.

Giving in and going as we speak. Don't quite understand the logic though. Some discs have multiple threads and some arent allowed to? No big deal to me, just was excited to post about my practice session haha Sorry for the inconvenience all

It's all good. Some threads just don't die, even if they are multiples.

How do I delete the thread? I'm sure it helps the site in some way.

I kind of just want to keep posting in this thread to spite people now. In that kind of mood tonight. I agree with the OP, we can have two Zombee threads, especially when there are new Roc vs. Buzzz threads all the time.

That's not a zombee, it's the "unnamed" ace race disc ;)

Not even PDGA legal

I'm bored... sorry.

I like my zombee. I got mine for free when I volunteered for the memorial tournament. They let me choose a disc from the memorial rack. It was the only fairway/control disc up onthat rack. All of the rest were high speed drivers.

I'm still trying to learn it, but seems promising.

Ah well then sir lets change the subject of the thread to "what makes my ace race version different from the Zombee"? I thought about picking up a legit Zombee and seeing the difference.

I like the Zombee for its versatility. Its more forgiving than a Comet. If you are searching for a "faster" Buzzz, I would recommend a Stalker though.

I doubt that there will be much diference between the ace race and production versions.

My ace race zombees are not like buzzes. I would rate them 6/4/-2/1

Yea def not anywhere near as stable as a buzzz. I only throw drivers 325' when I backhand so I don't have a ton of spin, yet when I backhand my zombees with a tiny hyzer they actually flip and hold an anhyzer for the rest of the flight, so I would call these things pretty understable. Judging by the flight ratings that DGC gave the zombee I figure that discraft bumped up the PLH a little bit for production of the zombee stamped ones.

I don't know why, but zombees just don't seem to want to go anywhere when I throw them. It's an awful feeling. You put the effort into the disc, and the result is just very underwhelming and sad. I hated it. When thrown hard, it does what other mids do but worse and less predictable. I could explain it in terms of flight but I want to forget this is happening.

I definitely have a feeling I will eventually find a disc that will budge out the zombee. It isn't a staple of my bag like the buzz or wizard. But it does offer some benefits to my current bag.
