You know you're addicted to DG when...

Haha i have to lie about what im buying and say i spent all my money on gas and food, not plastic and more plastic

I quit lying. Now when my wife asks about how much I spent on plastic, I give her some money, and tell her to go get her nails done. That puts a smile on her face, and she forgets all about the discs.

If she is going to spend $20 putting paint on her nails (which I like anyway), then I can spend $20 on some plastic.

When I checked the mail today, a Sunday, and was saddened because my Metal Flake Japan Roc wasn't there. It doesn't even ship until tomorrow.

When we moved the dental business a few doors down into a warehouse 6 times the size of the previous one, and the first thing we got outta storage and stuck in the warehouse was the practice basket. There is now a filing cabinet with one drawer full of putters.

when your mom sends you an email about the disk golf coursr in hopetown bahamas.....

When you sit in your car for 20 minutes in a steady, light rain because you see a clear spot in the sky off to the South moving toward you and you are waiting to see if the rain stops long enough to get in a 5 hole circuit. It didn't and I didn't.

THIS!!! except we did. there were thunderstorms and tornadoes, so we drove an hour to a course that wasnt in the path of the storms. people were taking shelter while we were in the sunshine making a birdie putt

:hfive:

Bought three new discs earlier this week and haven't been able to stop thinking about throwing them. If there was a well lit field near my home, I probably wouldn't even sleep.

You know you are addicted to disc golf when you:

1.own the license plate "DISC GOLF" in your state
2.inherited tons of land in 1980 from your parents and make it into a personal 24 hole course
3. install elongated cement tee pads on said course
4. spend 14 hours a week mowing said course, maintaining it alone
5. live on the course
6. let other disc golfers CAMP on the course
7. make the course public, accepting, but not requiring, donations
8. create and give away custom scorecards and map
9. try and greet EVERY player that plays
10. Is named Bill McKenzie who owns Flip City Disc Golf in Shelby,MI

...just had to get this one in cause I don't think any of us will come close to his personal addiction. Thank you Bill.

I was hoping this was close to Milwaukee.

When you day dream about leaving your wife for a pro disc golfer... Not that I want to leave my wife, but it would be sweet to tour with a wife... Damn Jay and Nate have it made.

You know you love disc golf when...

You write your local news weatherman asking why it's been so windy this year, because it is really hampering your disc golf outings.

Yeah, that just happened.

How about you guys? Finish the sentence!

You know you love disc golf when you are not playing and you play a round mentally. I visualize playing a well-known course and every shot. I visualize the line I'm throwing and my disc selections. I play some of my best rounds this way lol. ;):D:clap::hfive:

You know you're addicted to disc golf when you weed eat a 400' fairway out of your hay field.

I also do this when trying to go to sleep

I do that all the time... As well as building different dream bags, and imagining what I'd throw if I was sponsored.

You opt to mail home clothes instead of the discs you acquired on your trip to stick to the two carry on rule.
